I Don`t mind the nitpicks at all Highway........ sorry about the AMT mistake...........as you can tell the stuff I built 3 years ago.....I really didn`t know what I was doing?.......Believe me I have gotten so much criticism in the past and recent that it does not bother me anymore......I just like to build and build and build..........but I am thankful now for the criticism it has made me a better modeler.....when I start posting my recent stuff you will see what I mean......thank`s again for the comments.

Hello.......another one of my models built 3 years ago.......this started out a s a AMT Nostalgic Drag race kit.......and Revell "Jungle Jim" Vega kit......I decided to make a" What If Tribute" to Jungle Jim.......Slixx decals......H.O.K. true blue pearl and pagan gold kandy......wired and plumbed......few scratch built parts and extras......thank`s.

These kits are AWESOME........great job.

Very nice job on this build.

Sure Jim........after all the prep work......I shot the van and boat with H.O.K. silver orion base coat......then I mixed some ultra silver mini flakes that I got from slixx decals.......I mixed them with clear and shot the van and boat with it .......after it dried for a day ......I shot just a clear coat to smooth everything out.......let that dry another day.......then I taped off and shot the Tamiya yellow...then I taped off the yellow and started shooting the kandy organic green.....then the kandy lime green.......then the kandy tangerine......all had to be taped off before shooting......the last was the H.O.K. black graphics .....for the circles I used round stickers that I bought from Michaels arts and crafts store.......I stuck the stickers weere i wanted them........ then I airbrushed the the stickers starting from the middle.....you want to barely spary the edges........for the arrows I cut a piece of paper shaped like a arrow......laid it against the side of the taped off area of the van and boat and moved it a little bit at a time forward as I airbrushed each arrow at the edges only.......then clear coated......if you have any questions please ask or p.m. me and I`ll answer any questions .......hope I helped ....thank`s

Hello everyone.......I am new to this forum....... I have posted for about 4 or 5 months ......and have been building for about 4 years.......I also built a s a kid around 8 to 13.......but I have had the bug for about 3 years.......going to local model contest shows and all........but I am truly thankful and honored to mentioned as a liked modeler.......and in the company of all the greats mentioned......I have seen most of all these guys builds and have to say that they are all truly excellent builders......I also have to say that trying to go beyond by making my own parts has made me a better builder.......I am not and will not let these nice comments go to my head..........again I am very thankful to be considered a liked modeler.
