Looking good.....the motor is AWESOME!!!!

Khart.......after I had painted the the whole dragon kandy green.......I was looking for a lighter lime green to use and I had remembered a color from a bingo dauber "Yes I do play bingo once and a while" it`s a mom and son kinda thing.....anyway I took the dauber and poped the cap put it in the airbrush.......beacuse it`s already pre- mixed I shot it through the airbrush.......I knew that if I didn`t like it I could just wash it off with warm water.......but what happened was the color did not cover well at all what it did was bubble up with color......I thought that looked cool but I wanted it to cover what I was airbrushing......so what I did was I hand brushed the color on then after it dried I went back over some spots with a different dauber color over the kandy green and got that bubble efect.......after it dried I clear coated and that is what turned out.....thank`s for asking.

Bob.....I hope you don`t mind that I put this photo up?....let me know if you don`t want this photo here and I will take it down.......I just thought is was so cool that you are building the white version of this car......I made this model before 'WhoopieKat" decals and Slixx made the decals for this car......the lettering is white rub on letters and hand painted gold over the grove name......we think alike my friend on vintage drag cars.

Hello......another older build.....but this one is kinda special to me.......as a kid I loved this model.......ask me why now and I will tell you I don`t know why?.........I guess I thought it was cool......well I bought 2 of them from Ebay......I wanted to make one right away and then make a better one after that........I removed the body lines from the dragon.....painted H.O.K. gold base with a organic green kandy over that ......then I used various Bingo dauber colors.....I like the way it came out so I went with it........the next one I do I will get rid of all the mold lines and strip the chrome and use alclad......I did the same thing with the 60`s Revell "Evil Iron" ......I will post that next week......thank`s

Brett.....you got an excellent start going......gladd to see another drag car builder in the bunch.......we need to recruit more drag builders..........if they tried it, I bet they would like it......especially if they see a drag car in person going down the 1/4 mile........can`t wait to see your dragster finished.

Hello......This is new off the "Work Bench" section........this is a replica of The Jammer Cycle Products salt flats streamliner.......top speed was 294 mph in 1978......this liner eventually evolved into the "Easyriders" record breaking liner........if you would like to see how I made this liner it is posted in the "Work Bench" section page 3 ,4 or 5 ?.......and if you would like to see the "Easyriders" liner model it is in this section "Under Glass" also............The engines were used from the Revell 1/12 scale chopper......I totally modified the engines to replicate Shovel-Head water cooled engines......everything else is scratch built using reference pictures.......".Pro Tech" braided line ,t`fittings, gauges, fuel lines, detail wiring........Dupont silver and red.....H.O.K. true blue pearl........... alcad paint and weathering........stars and stripes airbrushed.......decals designed and made by me and 'Fuelish Spectator"

Hello......another older build.......I have been posting older stuff rather than new because .........I wanted to share how I improved my skills......by researching more and taking my time on the build.......I will post knew stuff once in awhile.......but, hopefully you will enjoy some of these older builds.....also on some of these older builds I would get criticized for a wrong engine block color or that spark plug wire doesn`t go there......or thats the wrong wheels on that car.......anyway I am so glad that I got criticized......because it made me want to build better......so any of you that get criticized for you builds....... please don`t take it to heart .......just build for your self and and take pictures of you build and check to see if you mad a mistake somewhere..........This build started out as a original Johan Mickey Thompson pinto f/c that I bought off Ebay.........wired and plumbed........H.O.K. white ......airbrushed Tamiya metallic blue and "Odd`s and End`s" gold.........Slixx decals.........I cut the rear window out and added a open and close one....thank`s
