Hello.......thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do apprecite them.......I got the headers on and wraped them with medical tape.........I used a "Pro Tech" gas cap......I made some side emblems and painted them Alclad.......I made some seats and painted them with H.O.K. Orion Silver and I also made a console and painted Alclad.......I used flocking for the carpet and I also made the bubble top ring and switches for the bubble top.........now all I need to do is add the bubble top ,steering wheel and master brake cover and antennas.........then I will start on the base ......thanks for looking
  2. Hi Tim........I sent a pair of AMT re-issue slicks to my friend Ken Cornett and he turned the groves on the tires with his lathe......thanks

Hello......thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do appreciate them......I got the last coat of clear on......I attached the body,wheels and engine to the frame.......I also attached the radiator hoses and gauges.......I also got the lights hooked up and wires hidden......also attached the gear box......it`s not perfect but,good enough for the girls I go with......I will attach the headers and steering rod and finish up the interior next......thanks for looking

Hello......thank you all so very much for the kind comments.......I really do appreciate them.....here is a sneak peek of the painted body mocked-up on the frame......I airbrushed the rainbow flakes mixed with clear that my good friend Eric Ellerbusch sent me to use......Eric is one hell of a painter one of the best out there.....thank you Eric .......then I airbrushed H.O.K. Pagan Gold Kandy over the flakes......then I added the first coat of clear over that......I tried to get as close to the the paint job that`s on the real car as possible......Eric Goodrich owner of the real car said I got the paint really close......so I will go with that.......I still need to wet sand the clear and add another coat of clear.......thanks for looking

Hello......thank you all so very much for the kind comments I really do appreciate them.......I got the engine done ......I just need to add the starter......I used "Pro Tech" rubber fuel line,spark plug wires. wire looms,detailing wire, nut and bolt ends,oil filter,throttle linkage, and braided line.......I would like to thank my Buddy Art laski for making me some breathers for the valve covers......they added that special touch on the "Iron Lung" engine thanks,Art......I will add the steering box tonight......thanks for looking.

Hello.....thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do apprecieate them.......I asked Eric to send me the paint formula he used to paint the frame,wheels and engine block......so I went and got some Dupont Sterling Grey effect made at the local automotive paint store......I got the wheels,frame and engine block painted and clear coated....I started to assemble the frame I still need to add a few more pieces.......I used "Pro Tech" nut and bolt ends on the frame and "Pro Tech" T` fittings......I sent my friend Ken Cornett some AMT slicks and he turned some groves on them with his lathe.......they turned out great Ken thanks........I got the wheels together and lightly weathered them and used "Pro Tech" nut and bolt ends for the lug nuts.......I also made some valve stems and I got the rear bumper finished and painted Alclad.........I also made some side emblems.......I will work on the engine tonight.....thanks for looking
