Hi Curt......actually it`s pretty easy........I hold the rod in one hand.......I apply a tad of super glue with a toothpick about 1/4 of an inch of underneat the rod......then attach it to the body with a clean toothpick.....I let it dry for a few secounds and inch may around the body with the same procedure.......thanks buddy

Hello........thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do appreciate them.......I attached the wheels, brake lines and steering box......I still need to add the steering linkage and master cylinder .......I added some "Pro Tech" detail to the trans.,you won`t see most of it but, I did it anyway.......I also got the engine just about finished,I added "Pro Tech": fuel line, juntion box, throttle linkage, spark plug wire and looms ,detailing wire and nut and bolt ends......I just need to add the oil pan and headers and a few more small details.......not perfect but, good enough for the girls I go with......I`m going to get the booth painted next......thanks for looking

Hello........thank you all so very much for the kind comments.......I really do appreciate them.......I had to add a bead of Evergreen styrene around the edge of the rear resin wheels I bought from Ebay to fit the Revell 1/16 scale slicks that I used.......I modified the front and rear wheels and painted them Alclad......I used MENG nut and bolt ends for the front and rear lug nuts, painted silver and lightly weathered......I also made some valve stems and used "Pro Tech" hex fittings for them.......I made some rear tracktion bars and front radious bars and painted them Alclad.......I used "Pro Tech" nut and bolt ends on the front and rear end and used a "Pro Tech" T`' fitting for the rear brake lines......I weathered the tires with white,Black and light gray "Folk Art" Acrylic paints.......I know that the rear end and the front end are diffirent from the the 1:1 car but, like I stated in my very first post, this will not be an exact replica.......I am using what I had in the donor kit.......I will work on the engine tomorrow.......thaks for looking.
