Hello......thank you all so very much for following along with this build and for all the kind comments......I really do appreciate it .......I am finished with this build.......I added the parachute,push bar and steering wheel, exhaust pipes and heat shields........I just finished this model in time to show at the Grand Nationals Roadster Show at Pomona Ca........I will take "Outside" finished pictures next week sometime.......thanks for looking

Hello......thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do appreciate them......I go the front end attached with wheel pants and knuckle dust covers ......I also attached the front wing and used "Pro Tech" nut and bolt ends.......I also made a rear body support and rear wing spirng adjustment brackets......thanks for looking

Hello......thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do appreciate them.......I got the Monocoque attached to the body.......I also attached the roll bar.shut off cable, parachute cable.......I also attached the rear wing and brackets......I used "Pro Tech" small nut and bolt ends for the rivets.......I still need to add 2 tention brackets for the rear wing.......I also attached the parachute bracket plate.......thanks for looking.

Hello.......Jimmy,I would like to thank you very much for the History about Lil` John and the History of this beautiful car.......thank you for taking the time to post this......Hope we can make Lil` John proud R.I.P Brother........ above this post is History about Lil` John and this 'Monocoque" Dragster.......thank you Jimmy.......and thank you all so very much for the kind comments.......I really do appreciate them........I got primer on the body and did all the body work.......and got a H.O.K. Shimirin Zenneth Gold base coat and then painted H.O..K. Kandy Apple Red.........then I airbrushed a Tamiya Lemmon Yellow stripe ......My good friend Brad Norgaard AKA "59 Gasser" helped me with the Barry Setzer name decal......because it had to have a slant in the name Barry Setzer........so Brad did the art work and printed them out for me.......then I used Slixx 1/16 scale F/C declas for the rest of the decals ........I will give another clear coat then sand it all down again and give one last clear coat.......thanks for looking

  13. Hi Tim.......thanks Brother........I used a 1/16 "Pro Tech" 5 point seatbelt harness......I just added some bandage tape for the belts and weathered lightly with black "Folk Art" acrylic paint that you can buy at Michaels for around 89 cents a bottle.......thanks

Hello......thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do appreciate them.......I worked on the cock-pit......I used a "Pro Tech" 5 point seatbelt harness......I got the 'Monocoque" chassis finished......I just need to add the fuel shut off cable and steering wheel.......then I will get the body ready for paint.....thanks for looking
