Randy.......thanks,I just airbrushed a new green stripe down the middle of the body to resemble the paint job on the real car ......I`m ready to add the last clear coat....this build should be done this weekend......."CAUTION" beware of the decals......they are the worst I have ever worked with.......they do not slide very easy over a painted surface and mine were very brittle and tore in a lot of places......I did manage to repair a lot of the tears .......my paint job is not perfect......but,good enough for the girls I go with.........take your time and use a little bit of soapy water and a ton of MICRO SOL AND MICRO SET so that the decals don't stick to the paint or they will rip .......the soapy water will help the decals slide easy into place ......and the Micro Sol and Micro Set mixed together will help the decal form around the curved edges........I strongly suggest you you start with a small area so that you dont ruin the decals...... and you should be fine.......thanks

Ray......thats going to be cool.......can`t wait to see how this one comes along

Tim......I love the fact that you are making every detail.......every nut and bolt......I try and do the same thing ......but,not at this level.......you Sir are The 'BEST"........and Tim,what I like the best about you is that you are so good at what you do......and you are still a down to earth person........you have the personality of a real person without thinking that you are above everybody........that is very important,to stay humble........thanks Tim -
Hello.......thank you all so very much for the kind comments.......I really do apppreciate them.........I finished the body work......got it in primer.......sanded it down......then I airbrushed H.O.K. Orion Silver Base Coat.......then I masked off a section on the rear top of the body and painted that H.O.K. Cobalt Kandy Blue.......then I painted the Canopy and Rear top behind the Canopy H.O.K. Kandy Purple.........I airbrushed most of the body H.O.K. Kandy Red with a H.O.K. Cobalt Kandy fade on the bottom of the body.......I painted the wheel pods H.O.K. Kandy Cobalt Blue with a H.O.K. Kandy Purple fade.......then I added the decals......I will give the the body a clear coat tomorrow .......then I need to sand it down and airbrush a H.O.K. Kandy Green over the green stripe down the middle of the body......to make it pop a little ......I think once the last clear coat is on it will look pretty good........thanks for looking.

Kerry......thank you for the kind compliment.......I look at a picture of a part and just make it out of plastic......but,Tim uses machines and does brass work .....and that is a huge gift to be able to do that......I could never do that......I`m not that skilled......and I know nothing about car engines.........I really don`t think I will go any further than what I do......I will just stick with plastic......but,I give a big shot out to Tim......he is the "BEST".......and I really mean that........sorry for hijacking your thread Tim.......I just want everyone to know how I feel about your work
