  1. Thank you guys, humbled by your comments.......
  2. Thanks guys, one thing I forgot to do was put the square muffler tips that were popular on these cars. Guess I will have to keep that in mind for later....
  3. Yes, got that rear stripe decal from him a few Months back. Give him some time, he contacted me a few days later after I sent him an e mail requesting these decals.
  4. Want to thank a very good friend for handing me this kit when I requested one, our modeling community is the best. Just added some little things here and there on this build. Vinyl top was made using MCW's excellent textured paint. Paint is Gravity Colors Mopar Rallye Green with their two part clear, wet sanded, polished and waxed to perfection. Added wheels and tires from Fireball Modelworks, these are absolutely perfect for this build. Lug nuts and centers are all separate. I Molotowed the lug nuts. Six Pack carb is also from Fireball Modelworks. Door handles are also from Fireball. Keith Marks provided the rear stipe decal which went perfect for this build. Had a lot of fun with this one. Fireball Modelworks will be making a more correct hood and scoop for this thing which I will be adding when available.
  5. Okay guys, made the mistake of adding the locking hubs on the front, this Suburban was just lifted so it's not a 4x4. It was built for a good friend and that's what he wanted. Tires and wheels are from Fireball Modelworks, they are GMC 6 Lug Truck Rally Wheels. Decided to hook up the engine a bit by adding a Holley carb also from Fireball, M/T resin valve covers from Replicas and Miniatures and an intake manifold from my parts box. Paint is Gravity Colors and clear is Testors Wet Look. Fun build.....

  7. Thank you guys, the body was just lifted, it's not a 4x4. Should have left the locking hubs out on the front tires.....

  14. Thanks my friend, would love to see you build one. I guarantee you will enjoy building this one.
  15. Thank you, a lot of the real ones only used the rear flares simply because the front wheel openings of the body were already high. I will however use all four on the next one I build.
  16. Thank you guys and yes Mike, saw yours and loved it!!!!
