  1. I am picking up one of these from Harold for my Fujimi 330 P4. Really makes this kit pop when using it. It's a blessing to have Historic Racing Miniatures as a member of the club!
  2. That is Nassau Blue Metallic from the Testors Lacquer line.
  3. Been out of the model car building loop for a while but still enjoying your stuff here bro. Keep up the good work, I love it....
  4. Very cool.
  5. Clean and cool, just like I like 'em.....
  6. Thank you for your replies fellas, I truly appreciate your comments and input. Bill, the client actually paid to get this one built, it was not out of my collection.
  7. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH bro, you messing me up with this and worse, I don't have any kind of time to be at the bench....
  8. Nice job, love the panel lines and attention to detail....
  9. This is gonna be cool John, very interested in following this one.....
  10. Make sure to also look at some 1/1 reference photos for the correct placement of the strips.... URL=http://public.fotki.com/MCRUZ1/my-models/68chargermodel010.html]Hosted on Fotki
  11. I used Plastruct Styrene Strips for the top as well as the chrome molding that separates the body roof lines from the bottom part of the body. Make sure to add extra primer to the middle of the roof once you add the strips. You want to make sure to recreate the overlap look of the strips. 12. I used to do it that way also, it was a trick I learned from Jairus. The fact that this does eliminate that extra step does function better for me. I must apologize because the blue Charger shown on the image was done with the 3M Spray Mount, I just forgot about it. I think you get the same results with both techniques but I think the older I get, the lazier I am becoming.....

Just shoot the paint from a distance and once dry, lightly sand it with at least a 3200 grit sanding cloth and that's it. Enamel based gloss paint works best because it leaves a heavier orange peel which is what you are going for. Don't forget to add the strips that run from front to back.

  15. That is Mythical Maroon from the Testors Lacquer paints shot onto black primer, wanted to make sure I got a darker color.

  17. This was a build for a club member a few years back. Don't remember if I had it here but here it goes. I did add a wash to the otherwise boring hubcaps before handing it over to the owner, something to be aware of when putting this baby together. Dodge Charger

    Awesome build!
  19. Muy lindo amigo. El trabajo de las lineas de los paneles quedó muy fino. Felicitaciones.
  20. Very cool my friend, turned out great.
  21. Sorry to hear that, life can and will take over when it wants to and it's something we can't control. I am having a few issues of my own right now but I always keep my faith in God that He will change things for the better. I always believe that positive thinking and faith in the Lord always gets people through a lot of things and this is what keeps me going also. Don't let these situations get you down, things sometimes work out for the better at the end. Sorry about your mom, it's always priority and I respect that.
  22. Glad to see you back at the bench bro, I will be following very closely. Very interesting project you have there. Let me know if you need anything from me. Ya sabes como brega la mafia....
  23. Thank you for the updates, glad you are finally getting better from that troublesome back of yours. As always, I am here to help so if you need anything, let me know. I've had my share of issues also but little by little I will be reaching my goals. Thanks for all you do guys.
