Sounds to me like the kind of films used to polish fiber optic connectors. Go out and get a Micro Mesh polishing kit, it's all you need. You can't accomplish much starting with a 15000 because you need to level the orange peel with at least a 3200 to start....

Dust ruins paint jobs so to me it's important to protect them specially after spending lots of time polishing and waxing. If a display case can't handle the job of holding off dust I might as well not even spend my money buying one.

Future Floor Wax. I place the P/E part as close as possible to the area and dab a very small amount of Future. I will then move the P/E part onto the Future. Once 100% dry, I will dab a bit more of the Future on top of the part.

I always make a very small indentation with a small and sharp dental pick just before they disappear during the sanding process. This will give me an idea where to place the P/E parts after the paint and clear are in place. The P/E letters will cover the small indentations as seen in the images here.

I dropped my Canon EOS a few days ago but I should be covered to get another one, I love my Canon. I paid $800.00 for mine but I also got two lenses, a cleaning kit and a bag for it. I did pay another $100 and some odd dollars for replacement if any damages happened and I am glad I did.

I never received any torn issues in the mail but when I did, I must admit it was my fault. I didn't check the mailbox at times and the mailman is naturally going to stuff more mail in there if you are not monitoring the contents in your mailbox.....
