  1. Amazing work my friend!
  2. Very impressive!
  3. Yes Vince, those pictures were certainly very helpful and I must give credit to you and Frank. I went with metal tubes instead of plastic but luckily they were pretty good to work with.
  4. Found me a good way to build the right tunnel RAM for this engine!

Thanks Jeff but in this picture the cable was not yet routed, it's a WIP image. I did route it by the inner fender and onto the starter when done.

Thanks, nothing special, just a little plumbing and wiring to ultimately cover it with the huge air filter.....
  9. I decided to add the decals to the kit tires and make another comparison against the Johan tires. After sanding the sharp outer perimeter of the tires, they truly are looing better than the Johans. I need to purchase some Firestone decals to make them complete. I am thinking about using the Johan tires for the front since they are skinnier and look more period correct.....

Brett, the new issue is already out, you should be buying the May issue which is where this one was featured. Yes, these are the MRC Keystones which fit perfecty on those tires after removing a little bit of the inner lip in the tire.

Thank you for the replies fellas, I am very appreciative for that. The flares were just sanded down until I was satisfied with the amount I had taken off. I still think it could have been done a little better because they look a little flat. Should have taken them off completely and added a small piece of plastic and bondo to shape them a little better.....
  12. So Brett, is that the kit stance in the front? I like it! I might however also use the Johan front tires, the ones on the kit are too wide....
  13. No need to apologize my friend, the idea here is to listen and read to acquire knowledge and I thank you for your input.
  14. John, I am just holding the body against the tires, chassis is not there yet...
  15. Great build!
  16. Just wanted to share this in the forum.....
  17. Am I the only one who thinks the Revell supplied rear tires are a bit too big compared to the Johan ones?
  18. Very cool bro!

  24. Come on guys, don't you like it when you make something unique out of a piece of BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH model to hear people say "how did you do that"? That's where I think the fun really is!!!
