  4. I love this place, always will.......
  5. Nothing in the picture is glued yet, still doing some mockups here and there but I am liking the color on the cab and the way it all looks together!
  6. Looks pretty good and don't worry, you will get better as you build your next models. Just remember to pace yourself and don't rush anything......
  7. Apparently, some people have either their eyesight discombobulated or they just don't know much about scale. Got these cool looking metal pipes through ebay for the flatbed and they turned out to be too big.... And yes, the seller has them as 1/24 scale pipes but I don't even think they will work on a 1/16 scale model.....

Looks great for a curbside. A little wash and a variety of metallic colors help out.....

No my friend, the wheels come in that color in the kit. This was a review model for SA mag when I was working with them so I couldn't alter anything.....
  11. Worked on some bare metal foil details and painted the black trim around the windows. Glass is installed.
  12. Very cool and welcome to the forum!
  13. Very cool Ron!!!!
  14. Purchased a really cool decal sheet at the club meeting last Saturday. This sheet contains some really nice logos and useful info for any kind of truck.
  15. Got some clear on this baby already!
  16. Got some primer and color on this thing. Once the paint is dry, I will expose the emblems and bare metal foiled letters just as I did at the primer stage. I will finish with a few coats of clear!
  17. Looks so cool!!!
  18. Very cool!
  19. Thanks guys. They are not metal pins, got them at Michael's. They are actually flexible plastic and covered in chrome with a ball at the end instead of being flat headed.....
  20. Thanks Chris but it's not Alclad, didn't want to use it for this application......
  21. Decided to go with Polished Aluminum for an even more realistic look.......
