Okay guys, though I find myself in the middle of a current project, I would like your input on this. It's for my future Tamiya Mini Cooper build. I have taken a little moment this morning to shoot a few coats of paint on plastic spoons, I just want to have an idea how these colors look on a surface instead of inside of the bottle. Notice that I have shot the images outside under a shadow and also under direct sunlight, I want you to see the true colors of the hues chosen. I also placed the rims I will be using right between the colors, don't know if it will help on the final decision but it's worth a shot. These are 1/32 scale metal with P/E centers and they look great, they are the ones used for slot cars but I thought they would work perfect on this car. I will be posting this info here and on the various FB model car groups and later I will tally all the scores to finally decide on the color, I want to make this fun but I also want to have the perfect color on this thing. Keep in mind that the top will be white, perhaps even Pearl White depending on the final choice of color. Also, there are only two coats of paint on each spoon, I am sure I will probably finish applying at least four coats for complete coverage but this gives me a good starting idea. I think the clear will also help put everything together at the end but for now, this is what I have. This is our project so please, let me know which color you think I should use for this thing! Thank you guys, I don't think is all that, specially after seeing so many special ongoing projects in this area of the forum. The paint is right out of the rattle can which I thought was a bit thick, should've shot it out of an airbrush instead but it was kind of a rush project to get the review done on time. It is a fun build and I suggest you guys go out and build one. Looks great next to my Factory Stock '62 I built last year.....

I like to use hypodermic needles to simulate spark plug boots on my engines, they look pretty convincing. -
Excellent!!!

Thanks Bob and yes, everything you see comes in the kit, it was a review item so no alterations were permitted. It's also a curbside but it does have a functional and steerable suspension.

I see you are already mastering the look, keep practicing, it will only get better!
