  5. Not really my friend, just make sure to use a good tape like the Tamiya brand. Also, if you notice, the line does not start at the body but slightly off from it. You want to make sure that when you are done, the lines look to scale rather than too wide or in this case, too tall.....
  6. I have not done any lowering on the suspension, will have to ask the owner if he wants it a little lower.
  7. Chassis is pretty much complete.... Hosted on Fotki
  8. So far, this is what I have accomplished on the body..... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  9. This is a quick project for a club member that I wanted to share with you guys. It is based on the Monogram kit. Hosted on Fotki Thinking about doing something like this...... Hosted on Fotki Pretty much out of the box, nothing special..... Hosted on Fotki Kit is not that bad, I just had to add a bit of plastic on the sides of the hood and straighten the body out a bit, it was a bit warped.... Hosted on Fotki
  10. Very cool and interesting model Harry, definitely a muscle car in that era!
  11. Yes Tom, as James explained, it would be a bit much work, not impossible but tedious. I did like the fact that the kit brings this part molded in.
  12. Looks great in that color!
  13. Very cool!!!!
  14. Thought I had to start a topic with that title. Anyway, here goes another review model which I don't think I ever shared here but I think it's safe to do now. Paint is Testor's Lacquer Fiery Orange. Don't like to use these metallic lacquer's much because I think the metallics are way out of scale so what I did was, after shooting the color and making sure it was dry, I shot a few coats of Testor's Dull Coat to kinda difuse the metallics a bit and tone them down. After this I finished up with Testor's Wet Look Clear. As many of you know, this is a curbside kit but it does look quite good after completion. What do you fellow glue sniffers think? 16. Just another simple review model of the Aoshima Subaru STi. Model is curbside. Paint is simply Testor's Artic Blue enamel, slightly wetsanded, polished and waxed. Thought it was a very cool model when completed, absolutely fell in love with the lines of this thing. I was also surprised at how well detailed the chassis is. By using various metallic colors, I was able to create a little contrast and make it really pop!!! Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
