  1. Engine bay and components are completed, did a bit of weathering, after all, it's a daily driver!! I still have a few other details on the body but should be done by this weekend, hopefully.... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  2. OHHH! So that's the reason for this long thread.....
  3. Awesome work, I love this thing. Decals are a work of art, congratulations on a great build!!
  4. Gorgeous Lyle and the best way to make it to the model of the month in the forum!!! You little cannivin guy you!!!
  5. Use a 3200 grit cloth to remove the lint, 12000 is too fine and should be used after the previous numbered grits. After that, add a few more coats of paint and re-polish or wet sand again.......
  6. God permitting, I will be there with some firstimers....
  7. I have been using mine for over 5 years without any issues, I bought an inductor at Home Depot and built a wooden box around it, hopefully it will never catch fire or anything. I do want to invest on a squirel type fan later. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hopefully our friend can recover quickly, I will be praying for him......
  8. Very cool Alex, very happy to see that you are sharing all your work with us, never get tired of seeing your stuff!!!!

  12. Gorgeous work, an instant classic!!
  13. Fantastic work!!
  14. We will be celebrating our Christmas Party this coming Saturday since we got snowed out in December. How many of you guys are attending? I hope to be there, have a good friend coming for the first time who just moved to VA from Puerto Rico. Hope to see you all soon!!!!!
  15. Definitely one of my favorite modelers here, you are an awesome talent my friend!!!! Nothing better than taking your own reference photos to complete your work!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
  16. I found this washes to be a lot more thin, you have to build them up a bit in some cases but I prefer them over the Detailer ones. They are also water based so any mistakes could just be washed off if need be.....
  17. Found these at one of those Games Workshop stores, they are very good washes, I think better than "The Detailer" ones!! You do have to build them up a bit more but they don't come out as glossy as the ones from The Detailer!! Hosted on Fotki They come in various shades also.......
  18. Moving on to the P/E parts...... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  19. Thanks Tommy, with God's approval, I should be there, hope to see you and the rest of the PACM boys make it also!!!!
  20. Thanks for the input my friend and yes, I am tired of foiling this thing...... The website you sent is very helpful!!
  21. Finally finished the foiling!! Took some pictures outside and even in the shadows it just doesn't look right to me, can't notice the BMF work as clearly as in the inside of the house. The light color of the body has a lot to do with it. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki At least one can distinguish more clearly the actual true color of the paint!! Below are a few inside pictures. 22. OOOOOHHHH!!!!! That one is gorgeous!!! Thanks for sharing!!
  23. Some BMF work, tedious but worth it!!! Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki A friend of mine suggested that I wax the BMF after application, the results are really phenomenal, it really puts a great shine and a better chrome look to the model!! Hosted on Fotki
  24. Thanks Ron, please do bring it to the meeting, sometimes, being a copycat has its rewards!!!!! I will be doing some copying!!!
  25. Awesome work!!!!
