  1. Awesome work Luis, I like those rims better than the ones you were thinking about using, it looks more Old School.....
  2. Thanks for sharing this my friend. Does Model Car Garage already have a PE Detail Set for this kit???? I hope so, I will not be doing mine until purchasing the set....

  4. You guys are bad ass!!!!!
  5. That's great Anthony, now, you are gonna finish it right??? I want to see what you do with that!!! Looks good already man
  6. As you guys know, it's an old kit so improvements are always in order. I am also playing around with the motor and transmission mounts, since I lowered this kit drastically I have had to accomodate things here and there My next concern is making sure the huge headers don't come too close to the ground!!
  7. Thanks for posting this build here Gregg, definetly a car worth showing in this forum specially w/ the level of detail you are adding to that. I will be storing my spare Johan Cuda body w/ my 71 AMT Charger to do more or less the same thing you are doing on yours. Keep us posted man!!!
  8. A link to more photos........... http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/mmm...NL%205-10-2008/
  9. I don't know Keith, that's what I felt, it could have been the same count as last year but personally I thought it was a little lower, you know, the price of gas nowadays has something to do w/ it...
  10. Well, I learned that I shouldn't be putting my models in your categories, your work is awesome man. Just make sure that you don't put models in all categories the next time around!!!!! The show was not greatly attended but the few models that were entered were of high quality, congratulations to all the winners!!!
  11. Love where you placed the decals on this thing, it looks free handed!!! The color is awesome and the stance is just right, cool work as usual Luis!!!!
  12. This thing is finally polished, it was tediuos!!! That will be the rake that it will finally have after much tweaking!!!
  13. Congratulations Mr. Kulchock, a well deserved win. Didn't I tell you to go pick up your trophy before thay handed them out??
  14. Congratulations John, a very well deserved award, that thing was awesome!!!
  15. I talked w/ Jim Haught today at the Mid-Atlantic NNL and he told me that they are still trying to perfect it and will take a little time...
  16. You guys have to re-register again, that is according to their new rules w/ the new format. Might be able to use the old password but definetly will have to go in as new users or so!!!!
  17. Just thought I'd share this w/ you guys. I think it looks good even though I still like it here more but it is a place worth visiting once in a while!!!
  18. Beautiful job Bob, looks like one you did about a year or so ago, I think silver or something w/ gray stripes?? Like this color more though!!!
  19. Filled up in WAWA this morning @ $3.77 mid-grade. Went in for coffee and a doughnut and as I was heading back to my truck it jumped up 30 cents
  20. Thanks again Gregg, make sure to include your address clearly on the box or inside okay!!!!
  21. Hey Lyle, I will be there at noon on Friday, managed to get Chuck Glass to go with me to help out also!!
  22. I don't know Bill, why don't you try doing something like what I am doing, you know, something semi-tubbed similar to a mild street machine or something without as many details on the engine, probably a few braided hoses here and there and some mild plumbing. Personally, I think it's something you should have in your collection plus it will give us a chance to see how versatile you are with your builds!!! I love the lines on this car and am already thinking about doing something else w/ the orange one...
  23. Hey Dan, thanks. What is your biggest concern about not spending time on your models? Time? Desire? You are a very talented builder you know!!!
  24. Thanks to Bill Geary, last Saturday @ the Model Car Club meeting I was able to buy this Johan Cuda from one of the vendors @ only 14.00 Dollars. It was missing the headers and front bumper and other small details but I can't complain about the price. I will be fixing the body and build something out of it later. Also found my friend from down under, Gregg who offered himself and will be sending me the missing bumper, I can't say enough about this forum man, too many nice people here, thanks again Gregg and Bill!!!!
  25. I have had success using these little creams I found at a Michael's Craft store down my way. I used them on this Impala chassis and on the Model Car Garage Stromberg carbs. Very careful though, a little dab goes a long way. You can rub them with your fingers or w/ a small stiff brush. I used Model Master Stainless Steel Metallizer on the carbs first and them added the rub and buff gold color on. Finished w/ a wash of The Detailer...
