  1. I think it's cool man, makes me want to break out my airbrush and start painting
  2. Same here, a tad lower and level, I think it's a winner
  3. Side view, just taken out of the food dehydrator after a mild wash, next step is the paint.......Can't wait
  4. Another angle so that you can have an idea on the ride height, very important because the height determines how real this model will look when finished......
  5. Fellow plastic lovers, this kit is from Fujimi and it is a recent re-issue available through HLJ. Bill, I will be bringing it to the meeting tomorrow so you can check it out. By the way, if you think the guys loved you in Puerto Rico, just build one of these PR style, they will go head over heals with it man  The rims were a gift from Luis Ayala, a fellow model builder from PR and a very great friend and they were done in resin and Alcladed, very hard to get. I am putting this one together fairly simple and it will be curbside. I have another one that I plan on doing it with a rotary engine down the road........These things are very quick with rotary engines
  6. Yes, if I am not wrong I think is a 74 or so.
  7. Yeah, like you need something like that to make it easier and faster to keep taking the trophies home  See if you can get a hold of one of those surgical cameras, you will definetly make those wiper motors work

    muscle cars

This is definetly one of my favorites
  9. I know that this is not a very popular car among the Muscle car fanatics of the U.S. but we love them in Puerto Rico and it is like a tribute to my past when I use to see them in the streets of the Island and specially when they hook them up for racing and the likes. You Boricuas can vouch for me
  10. Very nice Nick.....
  11. Interesting work brother, don't get too Bill Gearish on me man, you are making me look bad. Good luck on this project and remember that whatever you need from out here just call me OK.......
  12. Really impressive work man, I have to start building more bikes.......
  13. I don't think you will run into problems but in the future even if it goes OK now try to avoid it. I would go with the lowest temperature, good luck........By the way, don't listen to this Geary kid, he is too good man
  14. http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model_clu...d/dscn8829.html I kinda had a feeling that this was going to be an interesting post so here is my humble contribution of a 50 Ford.

    '55 Chevy

Loved this model Randy, I thought it should have been the winner at the meeting of course with all due respect to my boys Lyle and Mike
  16. I can vouch for Bill, saw it today at the meeting and it is a beauty
  17. Very nice and clean build my friend, nice choice of color
  18. Nothing beats satellite radio, from news to country to latin and anything you want and best of all, commercial free
  19. Big VW fan here, just became your fan bro, cool work on both of them.........
  20. http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model_clu...5/dscn6375.html Hey, Barbo, don't you remember this Porsche, I had it with me on my trip to Puerto Rico when you had Bill Geary and myself as judges. Yes, I am definitely a big Porsche fan, always have been, I just haven't built enough of them that's all.......

    A Purple Bike.....

Always thought how these bikes would look in this color, thanks for answering my question, cool job..... 8)
  22. Can't wait for this one to be completed, thanks for all the advice and for not hiding whatever it is that you do with your models, you are a rolling school man
  23. http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model_clu...6/dscn0006.html I have never had any problems using alclad but my take on it is that I mostly use it on small parts and on rims that don't have that chromy look but instead like a highly polished aluminum. To tell you the truth, I have alcladed parts for a lot of people and it seems to me that those parts always come out better than my own  At least my secret is making sure to heat up my black enamel paint pretty good, put at least four coats of it on the part and make sure to really wet coat that last coat. I like using 10 PSI out of my airbrush when shooting the alclad and like you guys know, 2 light coats tops.......
  24. Great color choice and stance and the quality of the pictures really make it stand out..........
