I watch Speed alot...mostly the mornings, Dave Stacey, Hot Rod TV, Chop Cut Rebuild. But mostly I'll go through one of my hard cover books, looking for something to build. One day I intend to build everything in The Art Of The Muscle Car...starting from the beginning all the way to the end.

NAPA is where I picked up my repirator..great quality, for a reasonable price. Great paint selections as well. They mix up anything I want for the same price as a can of Tamiya.

Does that use a brush applicator?

Met Alex Trebek once in a little corner store here in Sudbury. Blew me away, him..here..so I ask what the heck he was doing here. Are these worth buying? Are they are good as the X-Acto blades? I decided to ask before I add these to my cart!

Donn I think that was my favorite part of that DvD...the end commentary..I watched it 3 times in a row..it was great lol..but you're right...they didnt build it...hands off!

Your best bet would be AMazon or eBay..maybe even chapters.ca...wouldnt be surprised if it was selling for $10k from a used book seller though...seen recently \OOP car books go for $2-3k

The Mom & Pop sheets are by far the best IMO..the most diverse. They're non-specific and can be used for any phantom build. I have quite a few of them horded! Some of those Quarter Panel sheets are great as well I think you're right, thats probably what I was thinking of.

Didn't they close up shop a few years ago, then came back? I wouldn't be surprised if someone else picked up the ball and ran with it. Either starting from scratch, buying the business or just taking over and paying them royalties. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking!

Maybe they're closing up because they've been doing this for the last 19 years. From what I can see just about everyone uses Slixx decals, they're fantastic quality and the price is reasonable. I'd even pay a few buck more per sheet if that would keep them in business.

I've been eyeballing the Maz Willys on eBay , but it just dawned on me. Is the Maz Willys the same kit as the black SWC Motor Sports series kit? If so..that's great because I have at least half a dozen of the SWC kit.

What a fantastic start (no pun intended!). I've built a few of these that turned out fine..but yours is wicked! The wiring job alone is really well done!

Dont cut your boxes up...they're collapsible. Just flatten them and store them away. People pay big bucks for those things.

Mine does just that, she lays on them. The one spot aside for my hobby room I dont want her to be..and she`s there every chance she gets. I swear she knocks over my Space SHuttle and Apollo rocket on purpose. But...cats are cats, they climb..there isnt anywhere I can put them that she cant access. Whatever..as long as she;s happy

Nope...no hitting an animal. My cat, I`ve had with me for 22 years now...she was abused, so I stole her from where she was! Anyway, thats gotta be a tough dog..you`d think that after biting into that hard plastic, he`d drop it and find something else to gnaw on!

That DVD is a hell of an investment..thats exactly what it is...dirt cheap too compared to the knowledge I walked away with after watching it the first time. I would have paid double the price..same as the Tips n Tricks DVD..worth more than the price of admission!!

you'd think after what happened with that other group of pirates a few years back, they'd get the message
