  1. Wow..Chris....those are some fantastic pictures...they surely will be put to good use here as well!! Thanks!!
  2. This is my second Donn Yost paint job...there are afew things missing, like the Hood Latches and the side pipes. I lost the latches, and the pipes keep falling off...so until I take the time to glue'em in there, this thing is finished!
  3. Alright...i got a camera today...might as well start sharing my builds. I havent RTFM yet...so please dont mind the bad pics. This was my first Donn Yost guided paint job
  4. No kidding..thats about $60 right there lol..ahh well..Tamiya and Alclad..at least you're paying for quality
  5. Picked this up tonight...had a hard time taking a picture of it with it, so here's the next best thing..a pic from the fujifilm website!
  6. Doc, is this the one you use? http://www.harborfreight.com/ultrasonic-cleaner-3305.html
  7. I remember those things did alot of bouncing around. I remember seeing more than one person get thrown off
  8. I have to change my clothes when I build. It doesn't matter what..as long as it's clean and free of cat fur. My build room is always closed off because I have a cat..she hates not being able to go in there but oh well!
  9. Someone broke free from the chain gang!!
  10. Personally I like them, as Niko said one type is covered in the same thread. Searching isnt a big deal, but when I see a thread called show us your engines or Race cars, I'll check it out from beginning to end. I usually find great reference shots of something close to what I'm building, all in one place.
  11. Does that include Dirt Track Modified racers?
  12. Thanks guys...I've only ever seen Daves Speed Shop at one of the local shops. I'm tempted to buy it whenever i'm there, but I hold back . I just might pick it up this week.
  13. Has anyone ever built one of these? Whats your opinion on engraving, fit or overall quality? One of the local shops has had one of the shelf for quite a few months now, I'd have bought it by now if I knew anything about this company and their products
  14. Wow...they look so cool! I have NEVER seen those before. I had no idea Gunze Sangyo made kits!
  15. I've found that Pine-Sol works too. Only thing is, if you painted bare plastic..no primer...dont use it. If you primered, the paint will start to lift in as little as an hour. Without primer, it'll be a big mess.
  16. Bin is great...I ran out though, so now I use MM Aluminum Metalizer and sealer. come to think of it, I wonder if the sealer alone would work...
  17. Nice builds! I have at least 30 NASCAR kits in my stash. Never concidered building them til i decided to check out this section of the Forum! Great job! err...jobs!
  18. If i get orange peel in my metallic..all i do is wetsand the area and touchup, followed by my clear coat...works for me
  19. Yeah some of those older chassis are real stinkers...the 'less is more' philosophy sure doesnt apply there does it! The build is looking really good..keep it up!
  20. cant beleive I missed this. Thanks kitbash...thats def going into my reference links for future builds
