  1. Adam - couple sprue shots... Helicopter is separate.
  2. I don't know why I like this look, but I do...
  3. Very cool. I love separate frame models for this very reason... Great work
  4. I would say not a rat rod. That's an actual hot rod.
  5. A seal might have been damaged when you cleans it for the first time. That could be causing erratic spraying. Are there grommets that seal the nozzle parts to the body or are they compression?
  6. Revell COPO Nova Or go with gloss black and silver lugs.
  7. I agree with making your own...even though you stated you didn't want to. Throttle return springs are pretty small in real life, and a lot of 1//25 scale replicated versions look like large garage door lift springs. Also it is more comon that the springs have a straight section of each end, and getting that from a pre-made spring is difficult. Here is a larger diameter spring, but it's probably only 4" or so long (or 4mm in 1/25): Here is one on a 1/24 scale model: It's a cool detail to add, but I would make sure it doesn't detract from your model by being too large or looks like a spring glued to the side of a carburetor. I make mine with fine guage wire. Just wrap tightly around a small pin, slide off, and bend the ends to replicate your paritcular use. Also, making a place for the spring to attach looks better than a spring just glued to the manifold.
  8. Very nice model. Placed in the right setting, would be hard to distinguish from a real bike.
  9. I don't know about that 1/20 scale series, but Gunze Sangyo has Toyota and Nissan vans similar in 1/24. There are four versions I know of, probably more.
  10. Nice work! I like it.
  11. Very well done. Great looking model.
  12. Very cool model. Color looks awesome.
  13. Nice! Great looking model.
  14. Chassis details are interesting. Really, once a model is built, nobody ever sees the bottom of a model. Even if it's displayed on a mirror, the top steals the show. I "waste" a lot of time on chassis details and painting - even though nobody ever sees it. So it's not so surprising model kit manufacturers spend time in other areas... I remember throwing things like shocks away when I built models as a kid. "Why are there so many separate parts?!?!"
  15. Beautiful. Love the color and customization. Great model.
  16. Cool model. Nice work. I don't know what kind of camera you are using, but the depth of field is really shallow - very little of the model is in focus in each photo.
  17. Adam - Tamiya paint...micro mesh polishing kit then scratch-x polish then Tamiya fine polish.
  18. Yeah, it's not the best kit...but, you can make a decent shelf model.
  19. Tire melt Broken A pillars Scratched "glass"
  20. Great looking model. Nice save - repairing pillars is always a challenge for me.
  21. Revolution Blues
  22. Just watched the Polyphonic cover - man, that is a fantastic job! Talented bunch! I like that a lot.
  23. I saw Neil in concert at the Gorge is Washington state - awesome. Rained the whole time (outdoor venue) but they played through it all. One of my favorite cover albums is a compilation titled "This Notes for You Too: Tribute to Neil Young 1999". Most of his popular stuff plus a few b side songs.
  24. Welcome Darren - there are a few here that share your affection for Japanese cars... Peruse the Works In Progress section for a lot of tips. The "Questions" section too - great info and tips.
  25. The Glidden version is one of those hard-to-find-but-not-worth much models... The 1/32 scale EXP/LN7 kits are actually great little, full detail kits, just the wrong scale.
