  1. SWEET score there! It always nice to see the older ones.
  2. I plan to keep trying to find those elusive parts I need to repair my dads model collection and some like he drove when I was growing up... 68 Pontiac Bonneville. 67/68 Plymouth Fury 2door HT. 69/70 Pontiac Grand Prix. 69/70 Cadillac DeVille HT. 67 Impala wagon. 62 Ford wagon. 61 to63 Ford pickup. 66 Chrysler 300. and some others if i can get a hold of them?
  3. Sorry to hear that Dave....just keep fighting and a positive attitude, it worked for me. The body has ways of working around problems and it will find them. Take care.
  4. I cant get enough 4doors and station wagons of the 60s body styles...also love the late 60s Cadillacs,Pontiacs,Chryslers and others. 5 AMT 65 Chevelle wagons. 2 Johan 68 Plymouth 4doors. 2 AMT 70 Ford 4doors. 2 Model King Open road campers. 2 Lindberg Dodge L-700 semi trucks. 2 AMT John Deere tractors tucked away on a shelf. I like the muscle cars too but have always favored the big luxury and family cars.
  5. Hi Greg... you might try to drill at a lower speed to keep the plastic from melting to the drill bit, it works for me anyway.
  6. Every time Ive used Krylon paint its been a bad situation, never had any good results from it. I like the Enamels but everyone seems to be going to Lacquers now and Ill have to learn that all over again...I feel your pain Highway.
  7. Hi Junior... Thats a cool idea and pretty creative. Now if I could just make some with the car brand dealer and lighted in 1/25th scale .
  8. Hi Dave... she looks sweet to me!
  9. Thats a good start of a fleet thats for sure, I like the old cracker box GMC...very cool! Love the old trucks.
  10. Hang in there buddy.
  11. I have to agree with Ed, theres always going to be some that cant think of others and their feelings when they need our support. Its a shame some of the adults cant be as mature as the young modelers can be not remembering we were all there at their skill level once.
  12. Hi Junior!... Thats cool! Ill bet hes glad you still have it.
  13. She looks good to me Tim! Id be happy with the work so far if it was my work, I haven't built a fire truck since about the age of 12 or 13 and it came out ? not so good then. I am sure it will please you and the many others that love your builds .
  14. Hi Johnny... Our thoughts and prayers will be with you both my friend.
  15. My first model was the Johan(Hualin-Hearse)kit,it was too advanced for me at the time. The good thing is I still have it and will restore it someday, the second kit was the Monogram(Un-Real Roller)I believe and much easier to build at the time. Wish I still had it but it was lost in a basement flood with some others.
  16. WOW!!!!... Now thats a collection! Somebody thank her for letting us see it. I will build more than one of a kit myself... theres always a different way or version to build them as,2door,4door,wagon,custom,ect. I even enjoy just looking at a great collection, it brings back so many good memories .
  17. Hey Chuck I like it... There for building too, I have many I am going to build/rebuild that were my dads and will be factory stock for most of them or at least I hope so .
  18. I save all the old boxes- top and bottoms. They make great storage and I like to look at them, Makes great wall paper.
  19. Very cool Junior... I like it!
  20. Very cool truck!
  21. Thats a real bummer... I had one when I was younger and would like to get another one.
