  1. next peice to build is to cut pieces for the outrigger casting primed and done
  2. so far im really happy how this is coming out . still doing research on more pictures of one . i want to ut all the screw and hoses in the right places. also working on the truck to put it on , thanks for watching guys
  3. next i had to make the main pivoting shaft so i know what to base the compartment arround it next i made one of the braces to attach to the compartment . added the mounting screws and primed it
  4. the pockets have ran dry for the next step on my firetruck. so in the mean time ive been wanting to build a small crane / hiab for the back of a big rig truck. this will be in a 1/14 scale , completely scratch and close to detail as picture allow me. so if any body out there has clear close up pictures it would be to email with them , especially over sea trucks . i started at the bottom with the base frame and cross members

  6. im still looking for more room, so if i cant go wider , i will go higher so ive added a small second floor , this will be for parts storage i think
  7. well the garage was starting to get to crowded, time to rent out a bigger garage now im able to get everything in need to make some more walls
  8. add some more hydralics , made an outlet and ran power
  9. hyrdralics all hooked up, attached to the floor, still have more to do
  10. before i can any further in the detail i need to add paint . but still a ways to go in the detail

  12. today i researching a tire changer and wheel balancer . but the wheels we use are extra large . so i found out that they do make them, (didnt know) so the basics is done , next is the detail

  15. so my 1st order from the distrubtors came in as you can see, holley, headmen headers, summit,msd, arb etc almost ready to open shop

  18. next i cut another sleeve that fits over light bucket pole but is smaller then the deck sleeve . will also attach the wire tip/plug next i flipped the deck upside down, yellow/black wires are the 4 search lights, the red/black with white tips are for extras light for boom later. the red/black wire with black tip is power for the lights the search light are up and working the boom lights are working also
  19. next i cut 3 pieces of shrink tube and cut one of the lights off the main ok, this is how i did this end of it, now i have to make 3 more, after this i will show you how to do the other end of it all 4 are made, next step . i drill a whole in the deck of the truck. the piece will be glued in
  20. today im going to show you how im making my search lights i start with a basic r/r light kit from china, it was about 11.00 usd whats nice about its 1/10 scale and it plugs right into your receiver or a 4.8 battery pack next i cut each light bucket from the main light bar, keeping the main bar as a part of the light bucket. next i cut a hollow round plastic tube for the neck, next i drilled a small hole in the tip of the tube and the light bucket , this will let the light buckets tilt next i ran small wiring through the rod and attached the light buckets with 2 micro screws

  23. the oil drain is done but i need a hose
  24. here another item for the garage im making . it does adjust height wise about 3 more inches high, still need to make the front casters wheels and mount rear wheels, i need a hose and an handle. hoping to have in paint soon
  25. i freind of mine email a picture of a oil drum with pump, it looked really kool to build , be a great item for the garage
