How well it functions (ease of removing or placement of the body) maybe more of a determining factor than looks Chris. The parts look fantastic but I don't think the look of the angle will have much impact if the body and tin don't sit right. I would leave this call til the tin work and body can be placed on, then make your call.

Yea I think that weather trick may have worked, much warmer last few days than it has been. MUCH appreciated. Yeah your mileage maybe off by a couple of miles , may take longer than a week though unless you know the route the oil tankers use to get here cause re-fueling could be an issue. Car's looking great, I have a spare set of them there decals so you've got me thinking now , though I'll probably go hemi powered chevy bodied doorslammer with mine.

Not that I think anyone will take a ruler or calipers to it............ If you think the .040 is strong enough go with that, it will look to be more in scale. You are doing such a great job on this it would be a shame for you to make concessions on parts you're not happy with.
