  2. Thanks John.. found mine at Hobby Lobby..had to hold my nose with all the "poop"erie stink in the place. Had to build a windshield for it ..the '23 monocle didn't do it for me..hahaha

  4. Gorgeous chassis work..love both builds. Chuck did a review on the Chuck Millers Fire Truck a while back..I was searching MCM for info when I built my version of it.   5. Interior done..added and painted a steering wheel from a 58 Chevy. 348 "W" painted and installed..second coil added to the Grant Flamethrower. Front motor supports added to engine.Air cleaner from 49 Merc. Joker
  6. Just a little update.. Wagons are also known as Grocery Getters....soooo... Bottles are scrap clear sprue and the chip bags were a fellow club member donation(thanks Gene). Local grocery store name is Martin's..used Woodland Scenics rub on letters for the name. Joker

  11. It's a classic piece of custom styrene from the "Classic American Iron" '49 Mercury. I just happen to like Al's steering wheel for obvious reasons. Like belly buttons...to each their own. Joker

  14. Holding the "Ctrl" key and tapping the "+=" key , I zoom in to study your build details. What caught my eye was all the wire reinforcement you do on the window frame and door opening. I'm sure it adds stability while you attack it with the files and sandpaper. Thanks for the sharp and uncluttered pixs. They make me focus on the bodywork.

  16. I don't really enter contest..I build for display. My club buddies twisted my arm at a local show. My name was called..I was daydreaming.. they gave me the stink eye...LOL First place movie car.. this old shop truck won at local show too Online H.A.M.B winner last year Joker

  22. Thanks Y'all.... @ Tooltas..I have the AMT Hot Rod kit with 3 kits in the box(40 Ford Panel..34 Ford ..and a 37 Chevy I'll dig it out and look through it. I work 3rd shift and I'm on my way out the door. Thanks again for the positive feedback.. Got my second coat of Dupli-Color white primer on the body and in the process of smoothing it out. Then the Pearl white goes on and then the Dupli-Color Bahama Blue.
