  5. Thanks for the info Bill. The turtle decked body is in there too right ?
  6. Found a 3 dollar 66 Rivi glue bomb at a show in Norfolk Va. The Buick Nailhead was a bonus..what I needed was the air cleaner cover. I had second air cleaner in my stash. First I cut off the snorkels and then used the Dremel to reduce the sides of the air cleaner..after that I used sanding sticks to reduce the back and sides. Need to add a small bullet to the center to give it a finished look. If done correctly a Kustom only needs the front wheels showing anyway.. Joker

  14. Stunning Kustom...me likey...lots ! Thanks for posting Ajay...love the Sled. Carson top is gorgeous !
  15. Thought about using the dual headlights from the 50 Ford..but decided it would remove the Olds trademark headlights. LOL But dang if the opening just begs for the stacked dual lite buckets..
  16. The top is from a 50 Ford. Hood has been rounded and the grill sunk. Almost went with the dual headlites from the Ford. Engine is in the drink..I didn't like the pearl green.. Front grill lip is a work in progress.. Chassis is done..still tweaking the top. This is where I'm at..white primer on the body and red oxide primer on the top.
  17. Sorry I missed your intro...Welcome to MCM. Joker
  18. I've stripped paint countless times.. My builds are mostly Kustoms and that means lots and lots of sanding primer for the bodywork to be ready for paint...only to have the paint run, bubble, dust specs, dropped parts.. If Murphy can imagine it ..I'll experience it and become a fan of Ol Murph' because it will improve my skill.. One 56 Ford in particular gave me the fits when I tried to do scallops on it. My saving grace was scallop decals. It's one of my favorites because of the trouble and not because of the ease. A 59 El Camino got painted 3 times...a two tone job.. With dominance over my paint failures...it went on to win a online contest. I build for me ..this forum (MCM) just allows us to share our builds...good or bad. Joker
  19. The side of the bumper doesn't have a mold seam. Did you use Alaclad or is it part of the resin kit?
