I remember building this kit ..vaguely. Didn't it have a clear roof insert ? btw..the paint looks fantastic as does the engine.

I'm an obscure styrene parts monkey.. Got them skirts at the Houston Autorama about 10 years ago in a parts bag.

Hahahaha ...yeah I know... I hadn't touched it in about a month.. here's some progress pixs of the car show sign.. have to think on a name tho. The Stetson and Colt are from the Boot Hill Skeleton. The hat's crown was reduced and the gun belt is masking tape with a wire buckle. The board was carved with an X-Acto knife and painted. the underside of the hood and the upper "eye brows" from an Impala. the 59 kit has the "eye brows" molded in one piece.The under hood structure is pure imagineering. Impala bumper with over ride. Side spear painted gloss white with clear over it .Smooth bed cover . thanks for your patients I will take some "sunshine" pixs tomorrow. James
