Looks like a Survivor heading out to get some much needed bodywork and some lace paint on the roof and candy paint and panels for the body.
  3. That's some detailed Dremel work but the result is stunning.
  4. Breath in...breath out.. box up the build and go fishing.
  5. Great work on the interior... the red wheel combo is timeless
  6. Wow...the rescribed trunk is a "why didn't I think of that" forehead slapper. So simple yet subtle..great improvement and it just ...connects with the curve of the Merc. Keep up the good work and don't get overwhelmed with too many projects. The hood work ...ROCKS !
  7. WOW ! ! !...just WOW ! Manny
  8. I feel you on the paint issues.. my last two builds ...a 56 Ford with scallops ...grrrr finally settled with decals..whew ! Second one a 59 El Camino..maybe the humidity I don't know...But I feel you. BTW..the metal work rocks.Keep us posted.

  10. Thanks Y'all.. @ Jason..made this shrunken head for a 54 Chevy Phantom Wagon..bad thing is ..it's hard to see with a visor and all. Made with tree styrene and paint. Here it is attached to the rear view mirror. This is just a tool box,gas can and floor jack ..detailed with paint. The "wooden" box is just to keep things neat. Adding a little interest to a 72 GMC bed. Joker
  11. Thanks for posting the Buggy, Hippie Dude. Never seen one before and I am digging it Brother ! I haven't built a Dune Buggy and your build is inspiring me go on a hunt. I'm thinking heavy flake or swirly paint panels or both ! hahaha
  12. I don't believe the engine, chassis, hood or tires say " open the back window ". Just saying...
  13. The torque is insane !
  14. I better go call my broker... Evergreen stock stat !... Sales are going to go thru the roof !
  15. Thanks Y'all for bringing this one back. @ Johann Got this one on my Fotki.. Straightened paper clip with shrink tubing..scrap styrene for the handle, end pads and some paint.wi Stays on the bed just fine..just wedged in there. Then I added the release levers on the Jack stands with solder wire. And a bit of styrene on the top of the Jacks. 53 doing trailer duty hauling my Chopped, channeled and "Z'd" 32 Vicky. @ MercuryMan..drilled out the sides of the hood right in front...the hood lip is thick enough for drilling and inserting straight pins with a bit of super glue. for drill

  18. Thanks for the pixs and link Tom. I just saw the entire album and I'm sorry I missed it.
  19. Awesome choice on the wire wheels and full white walls.. they go together like carrots and peas. Like your first and second build Richard .. can't wait to see what's next in line.
  20. Nice to see the 53 truck, I remember you mention working on one when my 53 was under construction. Love the Ford blue paint and pinstripes. Neat work on the door panels...big improvement over the stock "panels".
  21. What caught my eye was the delaminating safety glass. Where the glue starts to fog up after separating from the glass. Brilliant ! ! !
  22. Gorgeous paint combo and chassis work.
