  4. Great save on the moDoor..the top on the AMT does look like it was given a slight chop. At least now the glass is guarantee to fit. The amount of body work is killer so far. I got back burner builds myself..don't rush it.. James
  5. Back on track..Kustom track not the Street Terror track...hahaha Shaved off the door handles and side scripts, also removed the tailgate round thingie... Added the spears to the skirt openings I made them with half round .040" styrene sanded them to a point with a sanding stick. I'm making an orange and white tear drop shifter as soon as I get some orange styrene. Close up pix of tear drop shifter..taken by G.H. This pic taken by G.H. at a RAMS club meet. James aka Joker

  9. Thanks..the record player came out of the 63 Impala. Built the display table out of styrene and color matched the AMT "Rock-ola" James aka Joker
  10. This build is for another forum (H.A.M.B.) build off,but I thought I'll post it here too. It's a AMT 59 EL Camino. Going to add bubble skirts with 3 spears in each opening. Haven't decided on rolling stock yet. Keeping the original grill and tail lites.Getting rid of the door handles. and the Chevy scripts.Thinking of a two tone finish for this build. And of course ...some scallops This pic shows the 4 Fred Cady decal sheets I picked up from Jim Heller here in Richmond. Got a white, red, gold and silver sets. James aka Joker

  20. Alexander Bros. tribute kustom. AMT 1956 Ford Crown Victoria aka The Victorian II. Testors White Lightning and Fred Cady scallop decals. Parts stash 5 spoke and 36 Ford wide whites. Vintage 57 Ford custom interior. 1/8 alum. tube lakers. Build link..http://www.modelcars...topic=58697&hl= James aka Joker
  21. Dave..I kept the fire wall holes..the only thing I did do was make the opening smaller so that the hood hindges would work. As far as the side hood gap..good ol' styrene will work. Place the hood on the car and you can see how much styrene needed to fill up the huge hindge openings. Keep up the good work
  22. Well people... The solution to my scallop dilema came in the form of Fred Cady Decals.. This pic was taken at a club meeting by G.H.
