  1. Thanks for the info Dude. But....how did you prepare the parts for dipping.
  2. Don't be too hard on yourself. Chop tops aren't easy to do. Your chop is commendable and as others have said..I'd display it my shelf.
  3. I remember someone offered the Phantom 54 Nomad in resin. The one I hacked up is somewhere in my stash,I even got a second 55 Nomad to finish it..maybe in a few months..got two projects going right now. Great work on the opening tailgate and rear hatch window. Wish the 53-54 Chevy Panel had the side trim like the car. It too would be a great starting base.
  4. 5-0.. 5-0.. somebody call the popo.
  5. Saw the rear seat area and thought..a sword rack.
  6. Gorgeous Olds ! Do you have a build link on MCM ?
  7. Forgot to say that the Carson Top is another feature I'm keeping an eye on too. Thanks for sharing the body work pics Bill
  8. Keeping an eye on your engine build Bill. I've got a '50 Olds in the works and I'm looking to "hot rod" the engine even tho it's going into a Kustom.Waiting to see what kind of intake manifold you install as well as the carbs (number of).
  9. Thanks... Going to a show in Norfolk Va at the end of the month. Checking out the vendors as soon as I get there.
  10. Thanks...went on a Wagon bender for a while...hahaha
  11. Your in progress work is in my eye the best part of the build. Lots of detail work that will be hidden with body panels and paint. Thanks John for including the body work stage.
  12. Thanks Y'all this is my next project....Carson Top '50 Olds
  13. Drew...I'm borrowing that color...thanks for the info. I agree with the black wall tires on a race car. Probably had to ride on some of the roughest dirt roads for the race..over two thousand miles..that's tough on white walls.
  14. Luke ...Man you just gotta let us know how to take crisp pics...Your'e killing me...hahahaha Likewise ...my 57 Ford wagon is giving me the stink eye from across the bench.
  15. Pics from my build link... easy peasy skirt spears
  16. Jason ...they are called Organ Pipe speaker covers..old school The skirt spears are half round styrene..Evergreen 240.... .040" sanded to a point ..glued in place..then BMF. Glad you like the El Camino. @ Richard..going to the Tidewater show on the 27th and if scheduling permits..the Roanoke Fall Show.
  17. Great tips(no pun intended) Hugh..thanks for sharing.
  18. Insane paint work on the wheel covers. Neat work on the door dogleg removal.
  19. AMT '66 Riviera Lowrider
  20. More on the Kustom side than LoLo's
  21. Hey Dave ...the skirts on the Buick..are they original to the kit? I got a set in my stash (3rd down) and have no info on them. James
