Mini Bike 1970 Honda Trail CT-70. Side kit from Ertl The Destroyer 4x4 Ford Truck. This is still a work in progress "wip". So far I made it steerable, added paper clip front braces, kickstand, rear turn signal stalks built up the speedometer, cleaned up the horrible flash, rear foot pegs, detail the seat w/trim ,zoomie style muffler made with old paint brush tip. A buddy of mine hooked me up.Thanks Rick MCM member Zipper here are some pixs for you. Thanks James aka Joker

humm..I always thought you were from Cali.. Your builds and paint scream Whittier Blvd. I'm building a GMC shop truck and it will be hard enough to paint a single color let alone multiple candies. It's in primer right now. Thanks for inspiring.James aka Joker Pix by GHoneycutt -
Painted Duplicolor Champagne,Canopy lid hinged ,taller rear pie crust slicks w/painted letters on both sides of each tire, flocked cockpit ,homemade candles in front lanterns, brass screen radiator cover. Thanks for looking. James aka Joker

Thanks Rick The other mini bike is more like a trail bike..1970 Honda CT50 and it is a side kit in the Ertl Ford 4x4 'The Destroyer".. That one is going to the "Knife #11 Kustom Shop"..this weekend... The Purple Mini is based on a 1968 Honda Z50 ..side kit in the Baja Beast..Google search is Awesome. -

Thanks..no its not the Vandal mini bike. The Vandal had a Taco mini bike. -
Got this side project from a fellow RAMS (Richmond Automotive Modelers Society) member. It was an extra in a kit..I got C.R.S. syndrome and can't remember what kit it was from. It's for a GMC shop truck I'm working on. Made a sissy bar with reflector ,soda can fenders , lowered the seat ,swing kickstand , brake cable lines , front head light , stainless steel washer for rear gear and covered in Testors Acrylic paint. Wished I had taken some before pictures ...sorry about that. Thanks Rik

Joker replied to Alyn's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Thank you for sharing. Each piece even the distributor is a kit in its self. I normally hog out the kits distributor and insert 9 wires.- 31 replies
