This is my 1st look at it and I have to say way cool! Don't let lack of comments get ya down. I did that with my aircraft/military influenced Mustang Anyway I am an odd ball here.. I do not care for 20's-30's cars untill about '38-'39. I do however have a love for C- cabs Neat little rod and I'm glad you stuck with it.
Thanks for the comments and compliments guys. It means a lot on this one. I did a lot of body work to make this look good and after painting it black on top of the body work I felt really happy. It was odd though. I did a lot of work and a lot of first time stuff like the seat belts and then I was in a "funk" I did not want to build the engine or engine compartment. Then today's mishap in which was an accident I feel like putting this in a box. Anyone get that it's going smooth and I better stop now syndrome? Oh well my club meet is soon and this is my car so I gotta hope for the best. I think my engine pulled me out of my "funk. Oh and the spark plug boots are insulation from phone wire wrapped over fake flower hobby wire.
I'm thinking ... "Miscellaneous." Since we don't have a "wacked-out urban warfare" class.
LOL!!!!!!!!!! We could always have Dale's Snow Bird Patrol next to it
I am a HUGE fan of wagons (almost the only cars that get their pictures taken by me at car shows) and Buicks from late 40's to 70's. This makes me Very Happy Amazing build, Great topic and all around very well done. I tip my hat to you
I have that kit and it didn't have a stock hood I had to get it from a friend I'm mixed on my input due to I'd say stock for stock but with those wheels the small cowl would be ok. Sporty but not over the top cause the cowl on this truck is not tall.
OK so here is an update... This is only one wheel after paint. This is my first ever valve stem. I do like it but needs more work. I also did more engine work. Enjoy!
My basic sequence is this: Google,Ebay motors, magazines,Auto Trader online, and also Dupont Registry online ( a rich guy version of auto trader) I used it when I worked on a Lambo and each car had about 10 detailed pictures from all angles,
All I know was I added George as one on my 1st friends cause he was the cool cat that welcomed me to the forum The others I've added are club guys and some that I "talk" to a lot on here or have similar interests. i don't think it really does anything though...
