I just saw this thread and I had some questions too. Can you just dip the body in a tub of like I do my dunk tank that removes paint? Also it's floor wax, I used to be a janitor that did floors. Can't you use like a mini bonnet on a dremel and buff it like a propane buffer does to thr real floor and shine it up with no extra car wax added??? Maybe I should try this on a junker but I'm curious about the dunk tank idea before I waste a bottle. Thanks in advance for any thoughts...

Hey Chris I'm trying to get the day off and if I do i'll let ya know. I'd love to meet up with ya. That Dan guy there makin posts is one of head honchos of the club I'm in so you can meet a bunch of us ( some of the guys are in Cactus as well which is cool stuff but I cant make enough models to keep up with 2 themes a month ) Then you can see if you'd like to join one of the clubs or both. Anyway Hope to see you there! Also guys coming from Puerto Rico.... It will be very nice to see you guys and your stuff and welcome to AZ when you get here!

Hey James, I got it for a screaming deal for all really. The Harley combo I bought from a guy in my club, He gave it to me for $25.The boxed drags, 2 of the Days cars, were $10, The whole lot of Junkyard cars was $10, The 63 Ford was a kit exchange. The Nascar truck was actually $6 and the rest of the boxed kits were $5. The bagged stuff varies from full kits and some just parts which ranged from 1.50 a bag to $5 for the Dodge Lil Red Express. All the Harry Gant stuff including 2 autographs was $20 and $5 for all the Cards including a full sealed pack of the whole 91 set and $5 bucks for the orange Impala that was actually done really nice. I'll fix it and put it under glass. Wheelin and dealin! The junk yard were kid kits so I have my work cut out getting the thick paint and over glue off of them but that many for ten was worth the parts!

Hey Dan, I hope I didn't step on any toes. Just wanted to show gratitude to Revell and Goodguys I hope I didn't mis-represent anyone. I was just sayin a bunch of cool cats made a lot of people happy from youth to adult

Thanks bud about the colors. I won't do that again for sure. I'll get the new pics up later as I want to run a new wheel idea by you guys. With the resto-mod or pro touring or whatever it's hard with wheels. I don't want Donk or low rider just bigger. I think I found some and will work with the paint. pics soon

Blake I'm the same as most here, Mags, Google, etc. But there are 2 I use that a lot do not. Dupont Registry (its like the rich mans version of the auto trader and there is full color mags and they are online)For a certain car you click on you normally get 4 to 12 pics of all angles for just one car. And another one to let your mind go wild or even look for stock is CarDomain. They are both dot coms and come in VERY handy.

Hey guys long time no see! I have to share with my friends in the build and a special thanks to Blake for starting the thread and to Cranky for setting a high bar that pushed me, that since the truck is kind of a Chevy still, I finally placed in my club meeting for the first time It was actually a tie but I'll take it. We only rank 1st through 3rd and I got 2nd! Thanks for allowing me to join this build and push my mind. This was actually my first major kitbash so I'm really happy right now!

Great Marty! I put some pics of the kits we did in the Model Club section but with me only having 2 and 1/2 hours to take in all of Good Guys I didn't catch the kids. I did mention it and again a HUGE thanks to Revell for the sponsorship to make this possible. Great pics Marty! -
Welcome abord this great ship! For pics if your interested go to the tips and tricks section and read the very 1st "Pinned" topic about how to use Photobucket. I did it and it saved me a lot of grief from the guys that don't like bad pics

Hi all Here is a pic of Chris starting his Vette. We will work on getting him set up on the workbench. We gotta take more pictures and we painted it when it was cold so it orange peeled and we have to strip it. More on the way from him soon. I gotta figure out his Avatar setting as well I was lucky with the Bronco pic on mine but it always says its to big for anything else. So good luck Chris! -
Wow! Nice work and I love the wood floors!
