  1. Nice looking bird! Where did the bike come from?
  2. <~~~~~ Loves the wagons and this is great! Nice work on a rare bird
  3. Nice start! I will soon be facing this very issue as I'm going to build a car never made by the models companies but a sister car was.
  4. I've found adult stuff, tools, full pack of smokes, blood soaked clothes, a dead cat, but I have to say my most odd find was my old friends Mavrick 2 door with a 302 in it. He lived in a completely different part of the state and it ended up down here in my area. Some jerk they knew wanted his wife and couldn't break them up so he "borrowed" the car and purposefully rolled it 6 times. He also sabatoged my favorite car I ever owned. My 76 Plymouth Fury Sport 2 door. Just cause I was friends with the Maverick guy. It was weird looking at my friends car with his kids school work and clothes and all kinds of stuff as I had lost track of him for a couple years.
  5. Now personally I hate BMW's (probrably due to the way the drivers of them act around here ) however this is a very interesting project. Nice subject and I dig the paint.
  6. So I've owned a lot of cars that have had dash mats and matching deck lid mats so with that in mind here is the interior done. I like the way this turned out. I need to get some trimming doen cause the camera catches more than the eye does. Enjoy!
  7. Great job getting coverage Gregg. I love that beat up Dodge starting things off. The make in take is the coolest thing I've ever seen and Revell came here to Goodguys and I saw it with my own eyes and wow it's beyond words how cool it is to watch the kids tear into them.
  8. Thanks for the compliments everyone. This build gave me the best satisfaction the other day. I live by the base and work on the other end of town at a furniture store. A soldier came into my store and I thanked him for all he does for myself and those around me. ( I always thank them. Always) After some chit chat I told him about this build and his eyes lit up in a good way. That made my day.
  9. Another Great conversion! Nice Bronco
  10. That came out great!!!
  11. Nice Stang I love the stance and look to it.
  12. The decal session may have been a pain but WOW. Great combo. It'd been a while since I've done an old truck and never this one. How's fit issues on this?
  13. Sweet boat man! I think I'd go Inboard but thats just me.
  14. Mine had it too. Not as bad as yours. I tried to hide mine with other detail to take away from it. I didn't think of adding plastic at the time. here is mine and some real inspiration for you.
  15. Ok Gregg I voted for ya since you give me this great forum However I gotta say... You just got it! Where is the guy/girl with some ratty heartbreak Please fix my car story? The oldest one was newer than fox bodies. Hope you win though bud, Maybe they make that thing so you have to be careful with that right foot
  16. So these are Johnny Lightnings which I normally don't buy but check these out! They are models!! Vintage boxes and the Label is sprue style. All the sides of the model boxes are as the original. There is 4 in the set so I need the Gremlin funny car to finish it.
  17. Richard he is right. The majority of us here have a lot of builds under our belts or just a couple done to such a high level. Never, ever, feel like you can't ask a question no matter how dumb you may think it is. This forum will come to the rescue. Heck I'm 32, have been building since 6. Just 2 months ago I had to ask what I was doing wrong with windows So the concept is great but do not forget to use us all for we all have different tricks in the bag that may suit your style.
  18. Now that you said 80's I'm game. I only have 2 older than that. These are in various forms. A couple are started (Not by me)..but most are clean. Caprice is getting a full restoration, and the rest are mainly 80's. I don't know the date on the 58 so anyones info would be nice. I have a newer one of it but it's early 90's.
  19. Thanks for adding more pictures. This is really clean. This is not an easy truck to make. Mine was for a certain build off and it's suppose to be ugly but looks like you already beat me at making the seams look clean. Great build.
  20. I like the color blue and the black/ blue interior. The color match wheels look cool too. I do think one bit of advice though would be get some black ( water washable ) India Ink. It's cheap and you could fill the grill area and then with a damp rag wipe off the high spots and it will make it pop. Then it will go with the black and blue too " The colors of trouble " Nice Camaro
  21. Dude I have to say that this thing is so cool it's beyond words!!! I have to ask though... Those wheels from a "Larry's Garage" series Hot Wheel? Fantastic work!!
  22. I'm also sure I speak for the club in my thanks to Revell for sponsoring the event and bringing the kits for the kids to make and take home with them. Very Class Act
