  1. Get some pics up Curt! I've got a few of these kits, need some ideas My uncle's got a '75 F-250 I'd like to replicate someday...
  2. YES! Especially the B model Mack and the Diamond T, seem like no-brainers for new kits!
  3. Hey Michael, here's a good photo tutorial from an offroad modeling friend, but you can use it for whatever project you're working on, just change the dimensions: http://public.fotki.com/modeljeeper/models/working_leaf_suspension/
  4. WOW! Another GREAT redone diecast Hadi! Now who says these aren't models?
  5. Neat build Frank!
  6. WOW!!! There's some real QUALITY here as well as quantity, whether you finished or not! Good stuff all of you! Congrats on a job well done! Hopefully another 3-dayer will take place in the future, and with some advanced notice, there should be a larger group of paticipants!
  7. Mike, I didn't look at your linky, but I'll save you from buying it! Get a section of styrene TUBE with the ID the same as the OD of the rod you want to drill... Mark the end of the rod you want to drill with a sharpie to make it easier to see your mark. Place the section of tube over the rod. Using a drill bit the same size as the rod, twist the bit inside the tube, contacting the end of the rod you marked. Remove bit & section of tube, and you'll be left with the center perfectly marked, as well as a dimple to act as a pilot for your desired finished hole size.

    WOW! Super nice Paul!
  9. Looks great Josh, especially for a 3 day build! Get that baby in a home-constructed photo booth for some better pics to really show it off! http://www.briansmodelcars.com/tutorials/tutorial/91
  10. Most excellent Hadi!
  11. Excellent job so far Pali! These are cool kits, sure wish Revell would reissue This "Pink Poison" version is the best issue to get, the only one ever to come with CLEAR "glass". And for those of you looking at AMC V8s, here's yet another version in 1/25
  12. Welcome Mike! You'll like it here!
  13. Very cool Dave! What scale is it?
  14. Welcome Hadi!!! Very cool mods to that 'lil Hotwheels car! You must tell which car/truck the aggressive tires come from???
  15. SUPER nice Tom!!!
  16. It's NOT epoxy out of a spray can Mike, two parts make up an epoxy. I've had a few issues with Krylon not drying as fast as I'd like, but it did dry eventually (two weeks or so!)
  17. Great transformation Steve!
  18. That'll look GOOD as a 3-window cab Nick! Do you know where the Rallys with open lug detail came from?
  19. Wow is that nice Andy! Super realistic details!
  20. As usual Bill, you are taking this to a NEW level! I'm giving up & going to go run with scissors
  21. I'm in with this kit Bobby...in fact, I bought this one from Gary at a Pittsburgh area show this past fall! Will build box stock except for lowering and different wheels/tires: http://s920.photobucket.com/albums/ad46/jeffs396/6th%20Annual%2024HR%20build%20jeffs396/
  22. You've got quite the vivid imagination Ira! Seeing this KEWL build makes me want to go get a few of these DW kits like I used to build as a kid But, the way you've created one from a "normal" kit really takes it to the next level! I'm having visions of all sorts of different body styles done like this now Thanks for the inspiration!
  23. You've turned an "ugly duckling" into a swan!!! Very cool 'lil rod, and great smooth paint too!
  24. Great work as usual David!
