I got the two-tone paint all set, now I need to find some decals. It's red up top with flat black from the shoulder line down. It's a homemade drag racer theme. Oh, and BTW, the separation is hand-painted, no masking here! Note the blower hat peeking out... Oh, and the chrome also needs to be done!

Hahaha, the whole driver's side is in "primer" right now, you should see it! I m really liking this build, and I may have to pick up one of the chassis you mentioned later on in the build. This car is just so darned endearing!

This may be my favorite build I've seen since i joined the boards! It's just so awesome in so many ways!

The ducktail is all shaped and sanded, now I just have to spray it all (except the hood ofcourse!) in olive drab. I've decided to do a military theme with the paint.

Actually, the ducktail is about half way done I'll have pics once it's finish sanded and in "primer".

Hey, thanks, guys! The ducktail is in it's last layer of filler right now, and once I sand it, I'll post up pics. If I use one of those chassis, I may wind up actually keeping this one rather than using it for parts once it's done!

Well, here's my current work in progress. It's an AMT kit. I am very disappointed with the fit/finish and the chassis. The rear axle, exhaust, and part of the trans are molded into it. That hasn't stopped me from saving it from my junk bin, and I have decided yo use it as my very first full kit-bash.
