  1. Ooooh, that's so nice. Exellent work as always and awesome detail...!
  2. Looking very nice. I like Pro Mods because they are looking like cars but them are fast! Here in Europe, there is one Superbird Pro Mod. http://www.eurodragster.com/live/2009fhranitronationals/galleries/friday/images/_DSC0167.jpg BTW: That picture is taken in Alastaro Dragstrip, Finland. 2009.
  3. Real looking Chevy pickup. Love these old drag racers. This is just nice!
  4. Oh, that's nice! Awesome painjob and stance is lookin' great.
  5. That's nice... And painted with paintbrush... Where is that register plate from?
  6. Beautiful Olds Nice job specially the interior looks very nice.
  7. Rear tires are aftermarket stuff, made of resin. For soldering i use liquid gas to heat up the soldering paste (?).
  8. Slowly but surely... I made fillings for the muffler holes and put some bondo to them. I must only sand it.
  9. I started this about five months ago. My First idea was that i build a tubeframe to '56 Chevy. But then i got better idea. I had AMT's '63 Impala. The plan was to make a gasser from it, but chassis and interior were so bad that i started to think about building tubeframe to Impala. First i made a drawing and then i started building. The frame is made from brasstube. I welded them together. My dad helped me fitting tubes before welds and measure them. I did everything else myself. Engine will be Lamar Walden's and World Products new 609''. I must do the firewall because AMT kit doesn't include it. Tires will be Mickey Thompson Sportmans. They are street legal ones. This gonna be Pro Street. It fits nicely! Then i continued... I made front frame tubes from the same brasstube as the frame. I made engine front mounting plate from aluminium. Thanks for lookin'
  10. The interior is ready! I added tachometers cable and foam extinguisher. If i notice that something is missing, i'll add it. It will continue... ...Hopefully
  11. Yeah, Black Widows didn't have that passenger seat back but i think that it's ugly if there isn't it. So it's there and i don't take it off.
  12. After a little break i continued the project. Now interior is almost ready it needs only steering wheel and all little details. Seat decals fit perfectly but door panel decals were very hard ones... First time ever i used Scale Dreams seat belt- material with Model Car Garage's photoetched buckles. Plug wires are now installed to distributor.
  13. I took this out of the box to see how the project proceeds. I checked the chassis and there were very ugly pipes... So i removed them with forceps, hobbyknife (?), dremel and wide bladed graver. The next thing i'm gonna do is patch those holes and put some putty.
  14. Very nice Dart! Only one little mistake, chromed headlights. But that isn't your mistake.
  15. Oh, sorry i meant Badger's spraygun... But thank you all for those nice comments .
  16. AMT's older kit. When i got this, it was allready complete. I took it apart but rear window cracked. I started building from engine. I painted it by red. I didn't have a good size distributor so i made one. At the same time i built interior. There were ugly front seats and backseat...! I putted a pair of bucket seats to the front. I removed door handles and window cranks from door panels. New handles i made from staples. To the chassis i built fuel pump and fuel filter. I painted body with paintbrush and Revell's #30 Orange. There is no clear on it. I made new windows. Then i noticed that i didn't have other taillight so i made it from sheet styrene and i foiled and painted it. baseline looked like this: Completed model:
  17. 1979 Monza and Vega had same front clip and i think, this is Vega. But model is lookin' nice but can you take better pics? These are bit blurry ones . Love H-Bodys!
  18. Very nice! That frame fits perfectly and engine will be very nice too. I like more these blower engines without nitro in Pro Mod. What kind of front wheels you gonna use? This is so interesting project!
  19. I didn't know that '53 Studebaker can be nice taildragger. But this is cool .
  20. This is very interesting project. I love H-Bodys and Monzas/Skyhawks/Starfires are best of H-Bodys. That was a good drag car because it's small and light and with big V8 it's very wild ride like yours.
  21. That frame is going to be very nice. It's much better than mine.
  22. Those valve covers are from Jo-Han's kit.
  23. It's Jo-Han's model kit. Best one i've seen from Jo-Han. Body was allready painted by orange. I gonna paint underneath of the body, hood and rear panel by gloss black. I painted engine by blue and clear. I put some putty to seat's seam and fuel sell wich isn't ready yet. But anyway, here are a few pictures to you. I test fitted the grille:
  24. Nice project, I'll be watching this one. That frame looks very nice, and it's made from styrene tubing . I'm making scratchbuilt frame to my '63 Impala from metal rod. But my project will take forever...
  25. Very nicely done! Good engine details. One minus: I don't like those wheels and tires. But it's nice however.
