  1. This is going to be very nice when it's finished. Very nice and smooth paintjob you have on it. Keep it going!
  2. I like this car very much. And of course in both movies (American Graffiti and Two Lane Blacktop.) How you are going to build that scoop? Is there any resin parts or are you going to build it from scratch? Very interesting project, so I'll be watching this one!
  3. Very good looking '58 Late Great Chevy! Very nice job with those side trims, some of them were quite hard to glue to my one... Please post some pics from the engine and rearend. It's good that peoples are still building these great looking X-frame Chevys!
  4. This is very cool! Awesome Impala a good paintjob, love the chrome reverse wheels, very good engine details and very big pluspoint comes from real W-block 409! Those lake pipes are just fitting perfectly to those bodylines. Is this the Lindberg's kit?
  5. Nice colour and it looks very nice on Daytona! Looks like a real pro mod. This is great and very interesting project. Only one month to European Champion competition at Alastaro. It's called Nitro Nationals. Over 20 pro mods are coming
  6. This one is nice too. Good paintjob and interior is good. The engine looks nice but one thing I don't like in Cuda is that shaker scoop. Yes, it looks good when you look it in the front but when someone opens the hood, I don't think it looks good in that place... And because this is a model, all great details you made are under that scoop. But it's not your problem, the problem came when Cuda is built in factory...
  7. ''She's real fine my four o nine'' That is impressive build, that looks like 1:1 car what came straight out of Chevrolet factory line. Exept someone has changed those plug wires, I think Chevrolet used black wire as others but that doesn't matter. I think that maybe this car isn't showing 100% original Impala...? That paintjob is awesome and the interior, it looks like 1:1! That all chrome is made very nicely. All I can say is just keep it going and build more Impalas!

    "Breakin"

Looks like Jada toycar! No, that one is very nice and the paintjob: it's awesome! Engine is great looking with no air cleaner and those plug wires are very important to get that engine look good. But I can't still do anything else than watch that paintjob, how someone can do something like that...?
  9. As I supposed! Well those modifications are not impossiple ones and the car is very nice and one of my favourites, so a bit of work for it isn't a bad thing I think... When these two (this AMX and Javelin) are finally complete, I have a big family of Super Stock American Motors bacause I have one '69 Rambler American, this AMX and the Javelin! But making these two ready will take long long time and Javelin isn't still here. Maybe I'll start building it immediately. I don't won't just put the box to the stand. That Rambler was an ok kit.
  10. Exellent job again!!! Huh! Where are those tires from? Now I have a bit slicks to drag cars, I bought 11 pairs, five pairs to dad and six pairs to me! And one Good year frontrunners! But your model is awesome build as always.
  11. All you say is true, I didn't know, that AMX is 1:18 scale but I was amazed when I saw those pics. I'm a great American Motors Corporation fan and there are no 1:24/1:25 scale kits from AMX exept Jo-Han. But if I'm not wrong, Jo-Han has made a civil version from AMX too? But I bought AMC Javelin for next project (of course Jo-Han) maybe have to do all the same modifications to it...? Yes, it's the Pro Stock kit but I want to build it Super Stock because in early 70's Super Stock and Pro Stock classes were really close to each others, so it's easy to make it Super Stock...
  12. I'm a very big drag race fan here from Finland! Your project is very interesting, so I'll be watcing this one. Are those Revell's decals correct ones...? Keep us posted!
  13. If you are thinking a good colour on it, I think the best choice is dark green with Hemi scoop and white Bumble B- stripe. Like in this picture: http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/chrysler/45/dartgts.jpg
  14. Very nice! I love these Super Stock and Pro Stock race cars and this is awesome model! Good paint, good decals and they are fitting well, very good detailing on the engine. That's impressive and your building skills are very great. Maybe I build models like this after 20-30 years...
  15. That's very awesome model! Good details, nice paintjob and those decals are fitting perfectly! Good job!

    56 Ford

Thanks, that helps very much! I have to try!
  17. That winch is perfectly the same what is in my garage! Made by scratch... Or not...? Soecially that hydraulic pump is awesome. That Starliner reminds me from my first model, I built six years old! You one is much much better!
  18. Wait, I have to pick my jaw pieces on the floor. That's very very great looking model... I can't say more it's justso great and awesome...!
  19. I'm not a great Mopar fan but have to say that Dart is very nice car. Your build is looking good so far, keep us posted!
  20. Thanks Terror! I'm trying to keep this going but now I need parts for front suspension, one tie rod is coming, but more parts needing... Have to look what parts I'll really need and have to try swap them... Or then I make them from 100% scrathc as I will do with the rear suspension's four links. Next have to build all the brackets and then paint the frame and after that I'll make the floor...
  21. Yeah, Matador would be good kit. But I think that the engine from Jo-Han is good as enough to me. I did a few modifications to it and I don't need AMC 390 engine with my other projects... A good front suspension parts would be very good ones but how about the front wheel wells...? If them are good ones, think very seriously buying that kit. Othervise I still need the Mustang and I have two incomplete kits... That Matador is a bit harder to get from Finland, but I'll found one if I wont one, that's for sure! On the Finnish Car Modelers Association forum, the local AMC expert was found a '69 AMX. It was made by ERTL, I mean not AMT/ERTL but ERTL. It's very old and rare kit but it has quite good front suspension and inner wheel wells. Rear suspension was like Revell's and I would be built this lots of easier than from this Jo-Han ''high quality'' kit... But it wasn't Drag On Lady or even a Super Stock version but very much better kit... If someone want's to buy this kind of AMX, you all, buy that ERTL kit if you don't wan't to do very big modifications!!! This is just my luck, when I start something with very big work or modifications, something much better founds somewhere! Oh and there's the link for ERTL AMX: http://www.amhost.com/scooter/orangeamxpage2.html sorry my bad enghlish...
  22. I continued working with this. I made a tunnelram manifold from 100% scratch. First I made that plate on the top of the crankcase chamber. I flamed it, because after that it was more flexible. Then I made those intake pipes from the same brasstube as the frame. I rolled it because then it's bit more square. I soldered them to the place. For last, I made a plate on the top of the intake tubes. I test fitted everything to the place and it looked like this. Not so happy it's not so good but i have to fix the worst problems and then it's ok. I resized the pics, any better...?
  23. I made version 1 from the frame crossmember from styrene. But it wasn't so easy and it looked too unwieldy(?) I must build an other one, that comes from metal because i think, it's much easier to work with metal than styrene. I continued the seats. Lots of bondo to the backside and much sandpaper... Quite good. I painted seats with Revell Semigloss black but i have to sand a bit more before a new glossblack and then matt clear, maybe... Have to buy that AMT '67 Mustang to get those critical parts, now i have money. Yeah, i had to ask, is it this kit? If it's not post one picture, please. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/517V9AKQ2DL.jpg
  24. That's very cool! Decals are fitting perfectly, lot's of Micro Sol and Micro Set...? Good paintjob, white is quite hard to paint...
  25. That's nice Camino! But i don't like those taillights or the new hood. Engine and firewall are bit too clean/smooth ones to me, a bit of hoses and wires maybe... Now the firewall is looking like 2009 hitech. But ohtervise very good looking custom Camino, is this the AMT kit? Very nice lake pipes and wheels and tires are fitting very well to the '59 and of course '60 El Camino, Impala, Bel Air... Good paintjob and you removed the side trim very very nicely. I got a bit problems with removing them...
