  1. Hi guys, here is my latest build, and the first I post on this category. Starting with a Revell model, I decide to have the Denim paint scheme, no decals available, and I didn't feel to do the paint myself, so exceptionnally I ask to a good friend which is a very good painter to do it for me. And as you can see, the result is very nice. Otherwise, the kit is box stock except for the wheels which came from an AMT Bronco, and the tires from my parts box. First time also with the Alclad for the front grill and bumper, they were molded in black so I just coated them, and apply the Alclad with the Aero. Hope you'll like it !!!
  2. Thanks for your comments, yes foiling it was quite a job !!!!!
  3. Looks very nice, but some more pics will be good !!!!
  4. Hi guys, viewing the "class of 58 " topic remind me this Pontiac I built maybe three years ago ( or more...). Starting with an R&R resin kit, it was a convertible which I modified into a Htop coupe gluing an Impala top, chassis is from the Impala also, and the engine is highly modified Revell parts kit. Hope you'll enjoy it You can see that the engine bay is quite different than the Chevy one, curiously, the radiator is placed outside the bay ont the Pontiac, I aslo have to modify the heather box which was different than the Chevy one
  5. Very nice combo !!!!!
  6. One of the nicest I've seen built !!!!
  7. Very nice build !! Very shiny paint, and those wheels remind me the 70ies Street Machine... Just one question : why don't you leave the front grill surround chrome ???
  8. Funny to see that only 3 weeks after posting my Monaco, 2 or 3 new ones build stock appears here, it would be fun to make a pictures off all together
  9. I prefer this one much better than the Grand Prix 73 ( which I own 'till last month ). The rear taillights seems a bit bigger than the 1/1 version. Anyway good job, So what's next ?? the Grand Am

  17. Thanks, Yes I can see it in your "avatar" Looks nice, I would love to drive one, I'm very curious about that car !!!!
  18. SOme more pics of the chassis and interior To me, it is one of the most nicest design of the 60ies, Chevrolet did well on it, it's a pity the car doesn't sell well, 'cause by reading the the mag, the car was very well balanced, compared to the first model !!!
  19. Midget whisperer ask me to post some more pics of my Corvair I built last year. It was a resto build, as I start with a built model I bought to a friend. First yellow, I decide to do it black with a gold interior, to match an example I saw in an old car magazine. The challenge on this model was to get the rear wheels well aligned, and to find nice WW tires. It's build box stock, Hope you'll like it
  20. I remember this movie very well, back when I was a kid, I rented the Video Tape at least five times !!!! ( I don't want somebody ask me what is a video tape, or I may feel kind of old !! ) Very well done !!!!
  21. Thanks for your comments !!!!
  22. Thanks, it's a long time "thinking" project : you know like : "one day I'll build one like this...", so as I am in a "Let's build 70ies year" soI've done it
  23. Hi guys, here is my latest build, starting with a Roscoe's police car, I aded vinyl top, chage the wheels for some "mag 500", put some white wall tires ( decals from Revell in fact ). I've done a lot's of job on the rear bumper to replicate the original one, I've cut the license plate place as it was too flat, and make it deeper, I've done the bumper guards in scratch. On the front, I've cut the headlight and put some clear in place of, I've modify the engine bay to look a bit more realistic without the hole between the finner fender and the hood border line. Hope you'll like it
  24. Thanks guys !!! I'm working on a 78 Monaco Sedan right now, factory stock with vinyl top ....
