  4. Well friends, We're living the last 2013 days so I thought it was time to have a look on what was built this year. For me it was a good one I think with 16 kits built, all on the 70ies period. Normally I decided to do something else for next year but it was soooo fun and so much 70ies project in my head that I decide to go the same for another year !! Hope you'll enjoy the pics !!!
  5. Some more pics And now with some company The original catalog which inspired me : And the ad for the Spyder wheels : Merry Christmas everybody
  6. Hi guys, here I am with a new built : a 77 Dodge pick up, from MPC, an original kit which was buy painted and partially built. Originaly conceived to be a 4 Wheels drive, I modify the chassis to have a more common 4x2, using the front suspension of a "Little Red Truck", and also the fuel tank. I have to lowered also the rear suspension and decide to go with the Spyder MAg wheels, rarely seen on built model. The two tone paint was hard to realise, but I think I got it right.
  7. I like Buicks, and you give this old kit justice, very nice
  8. Thanks for the nice comments, I do my best do make the car looks "real" with the pictures I take....
  9. Thanks for your comments, why nobody ( Revell or AMT ) did a detailed kit of this Mustang, I would like to....
  10. I really like those Full Size Mopar, well done !!!
  11. Some more pics : The paint is from a spray can, and has not been clear coated, just polished to a nice shine.
  12. Hi guys, for this new build, I choose a 71 Mustang, one of my favorite model, especially in fastback, it looks aggressive even parked !!! And in the "Diamonds are Forever" movie from 71, it looks really nice in red without the black hood !!! So I started with an old glue bomb : a real AMT kit from 71 without engine. I decide to detail it a bit, with some parts from a Revell Shelby GT and from an AMT "Macho Mustang" I choose to use some clear lenses insteed of the clear ones, and to add some tires from Modelhaus. Hope you'll enjoy it !!!
  13. Really nice, I like first generation Toronado !!! I have some period auto mag and it seems that this car really impressed the journalist on the time !!!!
  14. Very nice Pantera, I really like this car, I have one to built from Airfix, without any engines or chrome, maybe that's the same base as yours....
  15. Really nice job on this Hornet, I try to get one one Ebay for a long time but without success, totally in the 70ies vibe
  16. Gorgeous build !!! I like it !!
  17. Thanks for the nice comments !!!
  18. Thanks for the nice comments, the top was a custom part from an AMT Ford van : the "Matilda". It was cut in the middle and add some plastic material to give it the good size.
  19. Some more pics : Here a pic with the original body just to show you the differences Hope you'll like it, don't hesitate to ask any question
  20. Hi guys, here I am with a new built, still on my 70ies wave : it's a 75 Ford Ambulance. It's a long time time project that keeps me busy this year. It started with two model kits, a brand new reissue and an old one from the "Disco Van" box I bought for 5 Bucks as it was started and incomplete. A lots of cutting later here it is, hope you'll enjoy it : Just to give you an idea with what I start.... And now the result :
  21. Gorgeous built on a gorgeous car, my favorite year for Chrysler/Desoto
  22. It started life as an AMT kit, with some parts from my parts box, and decals from Keith Mark. If I remind well, AMT did a Cobra model kit, very expensive now !!!
  23. Thanks for all these kind comments !!
