thanks Tim!!! you always motivate me. thanks Steve. thanks Jason, every once in a while it's not long before it hits the floor!!!! hehehe thanks Francis. there was so much time and effort in it already i knew i had to finish it. i guess i'll just have to wait and build a super killer 1/8 scale version of my '37 now. spent the better part of the day making decals, nitrous valves, gauges, and tie rods. got the sparky plugs wired too.

Francis, my apologies to you and Claude. i meant to type Francis but, there was a disconnect somewhere between my eyes and my hands.......oh that's right .....it was my brain!!!! thanks for pointing out my error.? -
so, i got some more stuff done. i'm working a lot faster than normal. some of the details may or may not get put into the car. i'm just really dis appointed in the thickness of the body and i don't want to put an extreme amount of effort into a build that, in the end, will not look right with body that is 1" thick in scale. any way.... fuel system plug wires more interior panels fire bottles hoosier mask bonded the scoop to the body

Francis, renshape is a treat to work with. i got so tired of breaking my small end mills on aluminum. it machines great, sands and files great. a little primer w/ filler and you're good to go. sent you a PM.
-
Ralph, good to hear from you. how've you been?.....and thanks.

here's some random parts. dry sump system / vacuum pump / frame clevis' and batt. shutoff/ upper rear shock mounts
-
Edgar, thanks.

rear and susp. i seem to have lost my photos of the rear housing assy. the entire rear is put together like a real one. each plate is a separate piece and soldered together. rear axle spindles are turned brass and soldered in place on a small fixture i made.

my absolute favorite part is the engine. this engine is based on a 5.2 inch bore space 822 cube Gene Fulton nitrous motor.it is all scratch built and fairly accurate.

i promised to give some earlier shots of the camaro's build. if you want more details on any thing ...just ask. one of the parts i enjoy the most is doing the wheels. fronts are 15x3.5 spindle mounts and were black anodized and then machined. talk about pressure. zero room for error here. then the were the back wheels 16x16 double bead locks. i'm hoping the effort shows through.

Ron, thanks. you've pretty much summed up my perceptions on large scale. i think if it's even a little out of scale you'll see it. Brad, thanks. some of you have seemed to move the goal posts further up than before. i'll have a lot of catching up to do. Paul, thanks buddy. always there if you need . can't wait to see that chevelle done.....it's incredible so far!!!! Dave, thanks.

Dwayne, best i can tell you is to practice. everyone here has learned their own way of doing this. good luck!!! Ron, thanks! Francis, Tim has far exceeded my talents. he is a literal "phenomenon". as far as the body, i paid a gentleman in S.A. the do a 3-d rendering and then handed it over to TDR. the 69pro mod camaro they sell came from that venture. some. $1100 later i had a 1/8 scale '69 camaro body in hand. that's the body i'll be using. Tim, thanks buddy, you have kept me wanting to get back to this project......thanks!!!! Claude thanks! Ian, this project hasn't been a WIP for 10 yrs. it was literally dead for 10 yrs!!! (hehe) i just finally said, i have to finish this. i'll post some of the previous build stuff. if you have questions... just ask.
