  1. Modern rims would suit better with the modern frame.
  2. Nice job with the seats. Thanks for sharing your technic.
  3. Awesome job with the engine. I would use a setup with six intakes. Angled might be needed for real estate.
  4. I declare this one finished. It has been fun project. It gave me opporturnity to try new weathering tricks. I didn't use the machine gun. I think this will be some sort of hunting mobile. Rain flap was built from beer can and some jewelry parts. Also the chain in the front is jewelry chain, which is blackened with burnishing fluid.
  5. Here is scratchbuild controls for the Dodge. Also tried weathering the interior. What do you think?
  6. Thanks for sharing your pictures. I think we have same engines. I'm curious about your setup for controlling the vehicle. Would it be easier to steer the vehicle when the twin sticks were in front of the driver seat?
  7. Is that front section painted as water droplets? It's looking very convincing.
  8. Here is some stuff to go into the vehicle. I used Replicas and Miniatures resin guns and tools, Italeri Toyota Land Cruiser gave the 50 cal machine gun and some old gas cans and batteries.
  9. Twin sticks might be the way to go. What else is needed besides those? Two/three pedals and gear shifter? Here is something that I was wondering for the bed. Seats for two friends and a machine gun. I also added twin batteries. Have to build tool box too.
  10. I added rust pigments and washes to body, and then added mud. Now I am thinking what kind of controls this vehicle should have.
  11. Tracks are from Panzer IV. Engine is now finished. Before and after weathering.
  12. This is a project that has been looming in my mind. Finally started this. I wanted to learn new weathering trick. So far I have used MIG's rust color, chipping fluid and resedagrun.
  13. Wonderfull project. That Allison engine is great looking. Im using same in my Fantasy Hot Rod build. It needs couple of tweaks to look good. I'll post some new pics soon.
  14. Engine is looking crazy enough. Turbo covers are nice. How about mounting air filters above them? Also wondering if you move right side distributor to the inside of the engine block. That would make engine more symmetrical.
  15. Great looking transport vehicle. Very entertaining thread. Are you going to add some straps for the race car?
  16. Here's couple of photos of test assembly and weathering. I'm going to make this car like it's been driven. What do you think about weathering so far. I'm using MIG Beach sand. Also added seats and belts.
  17. Haven't seen this type of vehicle built in apocalyptic theme before. Nice idea and execution.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek0Zf64NVso http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCMtVawd_Vo Having watched couple of crazy UAE sand drag race videos, I decided to build one machine myself. Italeri Land Cruiser. The military one with the gun. I'm not going to build full engine. Instead I will make huge turbo to stick trough the bonnet. Parts Box resin turbo added to scratchbuild manifold. Exhaust pipes made from styrene. Tyres are from Tamiya Mitsubishi Pajero and rims are either Fujimi on Aoshima ones. Color will be Zero paints Subaru blue. Scratchbuild intercooler. I'll build also a some sort of box for dry ice, for drag race use. Scratchbuild Optima battery and fuel tank.
  19. Maybe smaller wheels. Those slicks look too big. Otherwise looking good. You've got the shape right.
  20. I just mixed acrylic color to the diluted glue. Works fine.
  21. Those all look awesome. Do you mind if I copy the left one?
  22. And the Ready pics.
