  1. Stunning. You have so many talents.
  2. The ACE Hardware stores in our area have carried sheet styrene for a little over a year. It's in a cardboard display rack. Rather pricey. For thin sheet, I use "For Sale/Rent" signs. Very inexpensive. For thick parts I use gift cards or old charge cards. Gift cards are everywhere from Mickey D's to grocery stores and they're free. I especially like the ones that hang on a rack. Some of them have plastic that is more than twice the size of the card itself. Rods are harder to find. I collect drink stirrer sticks. I guess you could by them in a store. Around here they mark utilities with little flags attached to 1/8" styrene rods. Lawn services use these also. They can be collected in the evening or you can call diggers hot line and they will deliver them to your residence for free. Scale wise they are rather large, about 3".
  3. Fantastic build Pete. I sure hope that's at least 1/2 scale.
  4. OK. Let's start by adapting an all aluminum 815 cubic inch dry sump Ford style Boss block to the Ferrari transmission. The short block contains many titanium parts and housings. The aluminum Ford Boss style hemi heads were tweaked by Kasse. The Ferrari based trans-axle is computer controlled. This has the latest F-1 software which allows gear shifts in 20 milliseconds. It also has launch control which can be turned off. The original six-speeds have been replaced by three-speeds which allows wider, and therefore much stronger gears. It contains a six disc clutch pack which is also controlled by the computer. The Boss 429 engine came from the AMT '69 Cougar XR-7 street machine.
  5. I've got a Ferrari F-40 that want's to play.
  6. My first car was a creme over green 1954 Dodge 4-door. I forget the model. I bought the semi barn find in '64 for $1, because it hadn't been run in years. It started while being towed home. It had an original Hemi and a push-button 2-speed power flite transmission. I added a red dome light and green and creme Shelby GT stripes. My mother totaled it, while I was away for my freshman year in college.
