  1. Nice work Jim.... Looks great. If you never have used or bought any of Jim's you need to because he does top notch work and you can't go wrong his products. I have purchased products and even drew stuff up and sent him drawings of things I wanted made.machined and he always came through with great products. He is also a great guy to do business with and takes great care of his customers. I know I will be buying many more products from him in the future.
  2. Clay awesome wheels. Jim does some killer work. thanks for the info on the R2B2 chassis's. I was wondering the same thing as Ted.

  5. Bart... its. angreat to ser you back on this projet. I sure have missed updates. I am really sorry to hear about your back. I hope it heals fast for you. You have done a killer job on this rear end. I know the feeling of not being happy with a part and redoing it multiple times. you nailed this spot on. what thickness of brass did you end up using for the mounting plates? keep up the great work and I cant wait until the next update.
  6. Brad... here is the Kit the tool box came from. I happened to find this one at the swap meet of the NNL West earlier this year and got a good deal on it.
  7. Derrick... Thanks buddy, You will be extremely happy with the Dirt Modeler products they are very nice and glad i ordered 2 sets of each 1/16th scale set . Vince.... Thanks man. Yea I would say its pretty sturdy. I will get a full mock up pick for you soon. Promise. I am thinking next week I may actually have some primer on this chassis finally. So I was able to sit down and work a little tonight and got a good deal of the puke tank mounts done. still little more work to go but here are some pics to hold you all over A couple of days ago I got the top mount made and glued in for the puke tank: Here is the start of the bottom mounts, I decided to go with what I thought would look best with what I had to go by: Now I have both sides in, I still need to shape the tabs by rounding the corners and then drilling the hole for the bolt: Top view of the tabs: Here is another teaser pic of some Rims I had Jim aka Micro Nitro turn for me for my Pro Mod build. I had a picture of a rim that I really liked and asked Jim if he would be able to do something similar and here is what he came up with.... they are sure beautiful :

  9. Mike those schematics are awesome. Thanks for sharing with us. I do have to ask do you work with Lab View by chance??
  10. Clay... your progress is looking great man! beautiful work. I sure know the labor pains you went thru with the drive shaft loops. I couldn't tell you how many pieces I redid for my headers on my funny car build that I have going on right now. But to get the parts to where you are completely happy with, it is totally worth the many hours put into it. I do have to ask are the rear tires Flashpoint pro mod rear wheels?? or something else. Keep up the awesome work on this and I am looking forward to more and learning much more from you. You are one of the top notch builders in my book.
