  1. I like the mix of modern and retro. Nice build STewart
  2. Still trying to figure out the rear door hinges. I have put the interior panel on one of the doors. Here is a picture of the rear with hinges installed. Instead of a bumper I decided to use old style bumperettes. I put a piece of styrene rod in my dremel and rounded it. I then painted it rubber and put it in a piece of aluminum tubing. STewart
  3. I think I am going to cheat and do it the easy way . I have some of detail master's photo etched door hinges that I am going to use. STewart
  4. If you are using them for you dajiban, you might want some even better racing seats. This kit has some really great custom parts in it and a very nice set of racing seats. STewart
  5. Thanks Rodney. The epoxy is finished hardening and the doors work perfectly. I am excited that it turned out so well. As far as the plug in strip LOL, I forget how I burned out that plug but the rest of them work and the thing is really cheap. I think I had my soldering iron only plugged in half way and it made a big spark. STewart
  6. Always liked the color schemes on these drag racers. Great start. STewart
  7. Have a lot done. The interior bucket is in and I am working on the door hinges. They are glued in and I now need to glue the doors on. This is the first time I have done anything like this so I will see how it turns out. I used a paper clip and plastic tubing to make them. I still have a little to do on the grille but it has been sprayed with alclad. Here is a mockup with the wheels sitting in place. The hood is sitting funny so that it doesn't fall inside. Here is the engine bay. I still need to add details. Fortunately, I have a van of my own to go on and see what I need to put in it. The engine still needs its dual K&N air filters and a few other odds and ends before it is done. STewart

  10. I have worked with a guy named Johnny from a half-baked online store. It is one of the ones like are on Photobucket. Not very well organized. However, he has great service and very good prices. His resin isn't very good but he does great machined aluminum stuff. You can find his site here. Email is on the home page. He has some very good prices as I said before and does very good custom work. Tell him stewart sent you. Home page is here. STewart
