  1. Dang, that model is so cool on so many different levels!
  2. I like the different color! Terrific work! I need to contact you about some paint soon.
  3. Suh-weet!!
  4. Hey. I built this for a co-worker. He gave me a picture of a Firebird and asked if I could build a model of it. I guess I suceeded. Testors Honduras Maroon lacquer for the body, Tamiya semi-gloss black & matt black for everything else. Not much to it but it was fun; what a concept . Thanks and take care!
  5. It just happened to me last week and I'm getting ready to set things up again.
  6. Yeah I know, "that doesn't look like a Skyline!". Here in Naples I've seen so many of these that I just had to pull this kit out . I like the simple lines of the 1:1 plus it has a "coolness" about it when painted in subdued shades but for right now, it's only in primer. More pictures as I progress. Thanks and remember: it's a hobby; enjoy it!!
  7. Hey. Me again with another Skyline (yeah, big surprise ) Tamiya kit, Aoshima wheels, parts box brakes & steering wheel, Fujimi Apex muffler, and Testors Go Mango lacquer paint. Thanks. A couple of family pictures...
  8. It'll be cool to watch this come together. I have this kit somewhere and it's also gonna be a streetcar but it will be a while before I get to it. Check HobbyLink Japan for some throttle bodies; I'm pretty sure Sakatsu makes them.
  9. Beautiful!!!
  10. I got the first couple of color coats on today; I decanted Tamiya Italian Red and sprayed it over red oxide primer to see how it would look. It's gonna need a few more coats, some clear, and some polishing but I think I can do something with it...
  11. Okay, so it's gonna be red and that shows blemishes if the body isn't prepared properly; I used dark primer to show the highlights of what needed to be taken care of... I thought these R-34 mirrors would look cool on it as well... It should hopefully resemble this eventually... Thanks for the continued interest.
  12. Cool pictures! That purple really sets it off!!
  13. Oh yeah!! That's lookin' goooood!
  14. Lol! Hey Nick! It's gonna be Italian Red and the mesh wheels are gonna be used with the centers painted gold. Not to worry, I have a couple more that might end up blue!
  15. Yeah, I'm diggin' it!!
  16. Thanks man; I'm leaning strongly towards the first set as well. :0
  17. Hey. Yeah, so I've had this kit since forever it seems like. I tried to sell it but nobody wanted it so I felt kind of bad and here's what I have so far: R32 spoiler, t-tops molded in, S.A.S. Nismo hood vent from a spare hood, and 2 wheel choices. I'm thinkin' perhaps TS Italian Red with a two-tone grey interior. Thanks for lookin'.
  18. Thanks The orange car is a model; the picture is linked to my website.
  19. Those are all some fantastic builds!!
  20. Very nice!!
  21. Hi. I built this one years ago but never got decent pictures of it until yesterday. The paint is Chrysler something or other, Hoppin' Hydros wheels, Fujimi brakes & tires. Thanks for looking.
  22. This is gonna be cool!!
  23. Yeah, I'm really likin' it!!
