Revell 1958 Chevrolet Impala. Paint is from www.scalefinishes.com, wheels are Pegasus #1109s from www.scaledreams.com, brakes are from the parts box, I altered the suspension, added various items from Scaledreams.com such as the hard lines, speakers, battery wiring & associated terminals, and the Bare Metal Foil. Thanks for lookin'.
Cobra Colors paint for the exterior, Testors paint for the interior, Hasegawa steering wheel, AMT wheels, Pegasus tires, Shabo whitewalls, Bare Metal Foil for the trim, flocking, & I think that's it. Thanks for lookin' :sunglasse
They do carry a small selection of Plastic and some supplies as well. I stop in about 4 times a year when I'm up that way and always manage to find something that interests me. I'll definitely have to check out Colonial Hobby the next time I'm up that way.
Hi! The temptation to enter was just too great! I just got this in the mail the other day and started it a few hours ago. May I be a part of this buildoff? Here's the pics from tonight...
I blame Dave for this!!
That's a Tamiya 180SX with an out-of-production Scale Auto Style Bomex resin transkit. Tamiya's 180 if better than Fujimi's in my opinion but it's harder to find than Fujimi's kit.
Looking good in here guys!! I'd love to enter but I'm already in 3 other buildoffs on various forums. If I did enter though, I'd enter this...
because this one's already finished...
Thanks guys. Yeah, I had to cut the mounting bosses from the wheels so I could attach the metal pins that came with the kit. I also had to narrow the rear track just a bit.
