  1. Hey. Aoshima D1 Grand Prix kit. Painted in a custom mix of Cobra Colors paints, modified Hobby Design wheels (thanks for the rings Lownslow!), backseat removed and will be treated to carbon-fiber decal. Thanks for looking.
  2. I like this so far. Good luck with it!
  3. I've ordered from them before and I was quite pleased with the whole transaction. I want to get a few more things from them when my budget permits it.
  4. I use laquer thinner sometimes but prefer Scalefinishes.com enamel reducer when I have it on hand. I mix it 1:1 and shoot it at around 18-25 p.s.i. depending on the consistency. I like using them because I have access to waaaaaaaay more colors than just using paints. Nail polish paintjobs I've done...
  5. Thanks guys . I just used one bottle thined with Scalefinishes.com enamel reducer and then shot through an airbrish @ 18psi.
  6. I dig it! I'm takin' notes to use your tips for the completion of my Caddy one day. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Thanks for this tip Michelle! I'm gonna use it on a few builds.
  8. Either that or a blown 396. Thanks!
  9. Fingernail polish paintjob, Pegasus wheels so far. Thanks for lookin'.
  10. Beautiful work Jameston!!
  11. Thank you all for the compliments. Here's the interior and engine bay... And how it looked before the graphics were applied...
  12. It comes with both stock and lowrider suspension parts so you can build it either way.
  13. Hey. Revell kit, ScaleFinishes.com Mercedes silver paint. Testors Prowler purple graphics, Franklin Ink decals with gel pen freehand graphics added. Interior painted with Tamiya maroon spray with scratch-built hydraulic switchbox and woofers from ScaleDreams.com. Interior accents are Bare Metal Foil and Testors chrome silver paint. The engine is the kit engine with detail wire from ScaleDreams.com added as well as an aluminum air cleaner from Machined Aluminum Specialties. The Pegasus wheels have decals that match the decals on the top of the car with Hoppin' Hydros bullet caps added. The rear license plate is from Lownslow (thanks bro!). The front Impala license plate is from Rollinoldskoo (thanks man!). I enjoyed the build plus it was good to finally build this kit. I've had it since it was first released but I could never figure out how I wanted to build it. Yes, the front wheels are supposed to look like that, it's a street hopper. Thanks for looking. Build on; I know I will.

  19. I'm partial to Pontiacs having had several of them but I like and can appreciate pretty much anything. There's nothin' classier than a Duesenberg! Or a 540K! Or a '57 Bel Air convertible! Or an XK-120! Or a Speed-8! I love Nissan Skyline GT-Rs as well. You get the picture.
  20. "12- 15 PSI and thin paint to 2% milk consistencey. Move tip in close to body ( he says 1") but I shoot from about 1 1/2" to 2" away from body "
