  3. That would be killer if the stripes were outlined in yellow or silver.
  4. I can honestly tell you that pictures do NOT do this build any justice!! Mike is creating a masterpiece!!
  5. I got a Monogram '55 Ford pickup for $10 and a '58 Revell Impala for $12 thanks to coupons.
  6. I keep 2 models in our entertainment center but the rest go into the AMT-style cases and back into the hobby closet.
  7. STILL cool! No matter which forum it's on!!!
  8. Yeah, we need to hook up and check out a couple of hobby shops in Fort Myers and Cape Coral I recently found out about.
  9. Thank you, gentlemen!! I just used Plastikote T-235 primer and let it dry for a week. I'll have to go check out Wal-Mart to see what cool colors they have. I thin the polisy with acrylic enamel thinner from Scalefinishes.com.
  10. Here's the latest. I bought this as a hardtop but I already built one as a hardtop so I wanted something different. I took an extra '70 Bonneville body and cut it up to fit my needs in various areas. I added the wheels from the Streetburner Monte, some nail polish, a few details here and there, and here's the result. Thanks for looking.
  11. Most definitely!! Lookin' good so far, Marc!!!
  12. Beautiful work on it!! I have this wagon tucked away somewhere...
  13. As I type this, the '58 Impala below is the one I'd save.
  14. A fine-tip Gundam marker. I seriously want to thank all of you for the kind words! They help a lot! I really enjoyed building this model. I just built it like I would do a 1:1 version. Thanks again and God bless!! Antonio.
  15. Beautiful work as always!!
  16. Tim, that build was the one that got me back into the hobby on a more "serious" level!! It inspired this build... And for that, I say thank you!! Those of you that know what I build, you know I build mostly for myself but I'm pleased if others dig my builds. I can only please myself so that's who I shoot for with every build.

  18. Thanks for the compliments fellas!! Also, thanks for the explanations as well!!
  19. You never fail to impress!! I don't believe that there's a cleaner-built version of that than yours anywhere!!!
  20. Dang, I hate that I got rid of mine. Nice work so far bro!!
  21. Hey. Me again. This is an Aoshima kit that I’ve had for years. I finally got around to completing it. The paint is Fingernail polish with Scalefinishes clearcoat. The interior is stock with Tamiya paints. Wheels are Aoshima TrafficStar DTS. Yes, the rear wheels ARE supposed to be that way. Not much else to say but I’m glad I finally got it out the way. Thanks Keep on buildin’. Peace.
  22. I love it. I have a couple of "Donks" comin' down the pipleline myself. I'll be sure to post them elsewhere. Nice build David.
