Hey. This is an older Fujimi kit that’s been sittin’ around for roughly the last 6 years I believe. I finished it earler this week and now it sits on the desk of a buddy at work. The body is painted Tamiya light gunmetal, the wheels are Fujimi Advan Model 5, the front brakes are Fujimi brenbos with flat red accents, the interior was painted Tamiya matt black with the seats and steering wheel painted with ScaleMotorSports red Faux Fabric. I lowered the front and rear suspension so it wouldn’t look like a rally car. The decals are from the kit and also from an older Lau Bak decal sheet. The tail lights were finished with a red Sharpie and Tamiya clear yellow paint. The exhaust tip is from a Fujimi parts pack. It doesn’t look too bad I guess but something about the body seems incorrect compared to the 1:1 that I used as reference. It ain’t perfect but I dig it. Thanks for looking.

I agree witht the other guys! Jameston is awesome to deal with!! His paints are nothing short of fantastic to use!! Try 'em and odds are you'll be hooked!!
I use foam sanding blocks of various grits for smoothing body lines and such. I get them from Bed Bath & Beyond and beauty supply stores. I also get cool colors of fingernail polishe at those places. I know people wonder what I'm gonna do with the nail polish becaue half of the time my wife is in another part of the store. Lol.
Hey. This is actually a resin transkit for a long-gone line of Studio27 model kits as I found out from Hiroaki (thanks for the info!) I've had it for years and decided that I was either gonna make it fit the Fujimi kit or get rid of it. I decided to see if I had the skills to make it fit. I'm not much for a bunch of talking so I'll let the accompanying pictures tell the story in chronological order...
Paint is easy to apply but there are those that have not yet mastered it either . To be honest, I just haven't been concerned with it because my initial results weren't that great. (I know, lame excuse!)I'll give it another go and post up the results as soon as I'm able to.
I still have a small container of the stuff from about 6 years ago. I have not yet mastered it but it is easy to apply. I have no pictyres of anything I used it on yet though.
