  4. Alright fellas... I got the rear end axles modified to fit the rear wheels on tonight... I had to first narrow the axles, and once I did there is an injection hole right down the center of it... I took my pin vise and opened the hole up and drilled it down about 1/4 of and inch.. to fit my.035 rod down inside it... then I took my .035 rod and inserted them and glued them in place.. then I slid the tubes over my rod and glued in place.. they are almost the perfect diameter of the inside of the wheels...
  5. Get um Earnest...

  13. Thanks fellas... didnt get a whole lot done tonight.. I did manage to get the rack and pinion installed, and spent most of the night working on the cowl hood, it's about ready for primer.. I also stuck the rear wheels on there and took a few pics... Jim's wheels are wicked... I think they are just a tad bit to deep though... Jim is making me some new ones... thanks for looking and comments welcome... excuse my finger...lol..
  14. That will be really cool Wayne.. can't wait to see some updates.... what happened to the Vette???
  15. Thanks Stan.. the front struts are the ones from the pro sportman kit, I cut the cast spring part off and just use the lower part of the strut.. I then drill a hole down through the center of the lower strut piece and install a piece of styrene rod .035 and a dab of glue to hold it in place.. then I take a piece of styrene tube and slide it down over the styrene rod and trim it to look like the strut body... coil springs were made by using a small piece of wire wrapped around a piece of styrene tubing..
  16. Looking good Billy...keep the updates coming...
  17. I've also added carbon fiber decals to the rear wheel tubbs, and added rivet head detail.. I got the chassis clear coated too... and I started making the cowl induction hood from sheet styrene... thanks for looking and comments welcome...

  22. Scott that usually depends on the build and the location of the bars, and firewall.. I usually try to get them pretty close.. but you are right about the swing of the door.. If they are too close to the where the door meets the fender there may be some issues with opening the doors.. here's a pic of the hinges on the Mustang I'm working on... and heres the camaro I'm doing now... you can see they are pretty much close to the same spot....
  23. What scale is this 1/25th ???
  24. Way to go Wayne... can't wait to see the updates...
