  2. Dave thanks for the comments I feel like I got a good grade on my report card from the teacher...lol.... Wayne thanks bro I appreciate it.... Robert thanks dude I knew you'd like it.... well I got the rear wheels done I sanded the molded in screws and the lip off, drilled shallow holes, painted them black, and used bolthead details from protech..... I also made a mounting board for some of the electronics... I also got the engine painted, and painted the headers, using different shades of alclad,, thanks for looking and comments welcome...

  9. Thanks Bart.. I'm glad you like it, this has turned into my new favorite also... I'm going to add a thin piece of sheet styrene to the bottom side of it and put a couple of mounting tabs on it... I need you guys help on a factory yenko color for it....

Thanks Bart, they're a little on the dark side but for now I'm going to move on to adding the sensors and maybe I'll add a few other shades of color before I out them on for good.. if my lhs has some . we'll see.... Rom, thanks bro they could be a little better but we'll see.. Brett.. thanks bro.. glad you noticed. .. I try to do something I have not done before on each build......
  11. alright fellas,I went to my lhs when I got off work, and he did not have what I needed in alclad, so I got some burnt iron metalizer paint and airbrushed a list mist over them, after drying I took a tooth pick and dipped it in some jet exhaust paint and added some weld rings, I'm happy with them still need to add the sensors then I can mount them and put the engine in for good, thanks for looking and comments welcome...
  12. Sweet thanks Dave, going to my LHS when I get off work to get some more paint to try and make them look used like they have been on some 3 sec. 1/8th mile passes, lol... this is my first crack at doing this wish me luck guys, any tips are appreciated also, thanks for the pics too Dave.

  14. Thanks Ted, chrome alclad was all I had, but I have seen them on cars either chrome or stainless, I'm still going to add some other colors to them though, thanks for looking in...

  17. Alright fellas, I got the chassis painted today and made up the front struts from the ones that come with the kit, more updates soon...
  18. Joe and Dave thanks alot, well I put some gloss black on and then some chrome alclad on them, one more coat and then I try to make the look as if they have been heated up...

  20. Thanks fellas, well I picked this one up today and I made a set of headers from styrene tubing, still a ways to go on them though I'm gonna try some different colors of alclad on them this time around,,, here's a few mock ups.... hopefully they'll resemble this when done....
